Must see in Krakow. If you're going to spend some time in the city , then you can wait for Monday or Sunday (depends on the season) to visit Wawel for free.
Wonderful scenery . Must-visit are church where you can read interesting facts about country leaders who rest here (not only men!) and famous da Vinci 's painting "Lady with an ermine".
Wawel is split into different exhibits , a separate ticket is needed for each exhibit . treasury is a must if you get there before it sells out. You can see most of the cathedral without buying a ticket
The Sigizmund Bells isn't worth the time. Better to go up the Tower in the yard, the view from up there is amazing, so is the line to the ticket office ...
Walk up the steep walkway & enjoy the garden + cafes for FREE. If you want to look inside the castle or cathedral , you can purchase a ticket, but really the best part is outside or dragons den.
Beautiful castle with 5 separate museums and a cathedral . Well organized but little bit expensive if you want to see it all. Some areas were closed when we visited, in December.
Wander around for free day and night. Entrance to the cathedral and Pope John Paul II buildings closed at 5pm. Wonderful look put point to the rest of the city .
If you are in Wawel you can see a lot of things for free, there is no use to buy ticket to the cathedral , you can see everything there and nobody will stop you.
Beautiful architecture and nice views . Too bad you have to pay for all the museums separatly. The state rooms are worth visiting !
A must seen attraction if you are in Krakow. You can see one of the four paintings of Leonardo da Vinci in the world inside.
Diverse hodge podge of architecture from many different eras and locations, but leaves you wondering why they didn't develop their own unique roof
Nice place But if you didnt book online it will be hard to find a ticket for the museum and you Can just have a walk around
Beautiful Castle with the 'Da Vinci ' picture and beautiful Rooms in 1500-1600 Style! Very Nice the cathedral too or simply have a walk in the garden !
Book the da Vinci tour to see the 'lady with an ermine' while it is still at Wawel. The current exhibition enables you to see her up close and in a very calm private setting. Very special!
Wawel Castle - feel for a while like Royalty - admire Cathedral with famous Zygmunt bell, king apprtments, treasury house, armoury and royal thombs. Do not miss Wawel Dragon
Nice walk around and be sure to enjoy the cafe . No need to pay entry to the castle , in my opinion.
Leave about 3 hours or so but depending on how many attractions you want to see. Be quick with the royal apartments , the fortifications and grounds and armoury as tickets for these sell out quick.
When it's nice weather expect to wait up to 3 hours in line to main building. Luckily, there are tips: come when they open, go to the beginning of row inside to see many tickets are left... (part I)
Beautiful old castle with museums and gift shops inside. There's also a post office where you can send the postcards
one thing that is beyond my understanding is how you can call something so deadly with a simple word "SMOK" ?? DRAGON make scence, MONSTER too, but SMOK???
Big castle with different exhibitions to see. Spend here few hours and have a walk with no rush to enjoy this place
Fantastic sight, fantastic architecture . A must see in the list.
If you don't want to spent whole day in queue to the cash desk, purchase city touristic card or change paper money. Tickets machines there accept only coins.
(Part II) ....to each attraction (those for royal apartments disappear first) and check if tickets for attractions you're interested in are available to buy in second ticket office across the church .
Beautiful spot, must see. Bring a camera with you to capture these sights.
Well worth a trip. Stairs fir the bell tower not for the faint hearted. Beware ticket office shuts at 2:30pm.
Beautiful architecture and great location. I'll come back here again ????
The hodge podge roofs seem underwhelming but after exploring the rest of the castle one realises the roofs are the highlight. Everything closes by midday on Mondays.
Everyone, who loves castles , must see (everyone love castles - "Peppa the pig ").
Great to walk around even if you don't go inside.
There is enough to explore, even without paying for any of the ticketed attractions .
The castle and the cathedral is impressive but be ready for crowds of tourists
Great castle and historic site . Take speaken tour with earspeakers. Fully recomended.
First museum which limits number of visitors, at 12-15 all tickets for royal private rooms were sold!!(( no chance to see it
Very beautiful place - definitely a must-see!
So beautiful outside and very picturisque. Just follow the signs to find the entrance. Impressive!
At 4pm tickets to go in the castle are already sold out. So come earlier as possible of course.
Great area with a magnificent cathedral !
If you want to buy a ticket and not to stay in a long line , book it from Reservation on exact day and hour,it is much better,if you will stay and won't get a ticket.
Look for the dragon bones hanging by the entrance to the church . ????
Beatiful Castle ! Don't forget to take a walk above the Vistula River !
Small castle but so well preserved, there also a great view to the river .
Be sure to check out the restaurant which has stunning views of the city .
Beautiful place but some of tours are waste of tme and money. Crown Treasury is a joke - no informations about exhibitions and you can't do photos and you have to pay for it...
Tourist-y, but worth to explore.
Wonderful place! A must go place!
Free admission (only for individual visitors): Mondays: April 1 – October 31 (9.30 a.m.-1 p.m.) then shifts to Sundays: November 1 – March 31 (10 a.m.-4 p.m.)
Lovely castle with an amazing cathedral , doing the tour !

Great view from the tower, a lot of stairs to roof. - Serg Baida
Beautiful architecture. It looks like something out of a Miyazaki animation. Wonderful. - Alerrandro Correa
Very interesting church but you have to pay to see the graves. - Michael B.
In front of the building you will find a lot of displays - knitted goods, wooden goods, figures of ???? s... But my favorite thing to buy for yourself or to gift is ???? from blacksmith. Best ???? ever. - Ана Лековић
Very cheap, with a fab view from the top. - Mark Healey
Very intact, so picturisque and some street art dealers are around. You can see locals dressed with old national outfits for photography. - Murat
It has an amazing and charming atmosphere and architecture here is the best! You should visit Cafe on the second floor of Sukennice it has a normal prices in comparison with other restaurants on Rynek - Annet Sagal
Fantastic enormous schnitzel. Great atmosphere. - Tomasz Ciudziński
