U're here partially cos of The NY Times. U're queuing maybe cos it's FOMO. Take a step back. Screw 'em expectations & appreciate the croissants , kouign amman & cruffins just as they are. Rmb to enjoy
SUPER LOVE THIS PLACE! Manage to sample what was left of the pastries and it was really awesome! We didn't need to queue though. Love the rustic interior too! Would definitely visit again!
You can't go wrong - everything is delicious! Arrive a few minutes before they open if you want to have your choice of all the daily creations
I don't need to say anything if the NewYorkTimes says this is one of the best croissant in the world. If possible, better enjoy there with coffee . Croissants have to be fresh and warm.
Haven’t tried enough croissants to agree with NY Times that this is home to the world’s best croissants , but they are damn yummy for sure! ????????????
Line to order moves fast but drinks take a long time. Croissants are warm, big, and fancy . Plain croissant is very good. Almond croissant is good as well but too sweet.
Tue/Wed takeaway-only crossaints can be lukewarm. Double almond , chocolate , spinach and feta crossaints are all decent, but they are not significantly better than other good crossaints we had before
I enjoyed watching the chefs prepare fresh pastries while i was enjoying my fresh Cruffin :) not gonna lie, it was absolutely great! However... Worth going to but not worth waiting in line for hours
Really liked the kouign amann. Croissants were so so so good. Lightly crispy with so many flaky layers. Cannot go back to normal croissants .
Best croissant in Melbourne , perfectly flaky and worth the early morning rise to get them before they run out!????
Plain croissant is AMAZING!! Also the cream and jam is so yummy. Best croissants in the city .
Nice and flavourful artisan croissant especially cheese and Vegemite . Portion has been smaller and a bit pricey
The ham and cheese and the butter:sugar croissants are revelatory. The standard is hard to beat as well .
The croissant wasn’t my favorite but the cruffins are amazing! Recommend the lemon curd . Also, get here early because they always sell out.
Best viennoiserie in Australia. Possibly one of the best anywhere. Highly recommend the kouign amman . Great coffee too.
The coconut pandan croissant was beautiful. I recommend sharing half with a friend as eating the whole thing gets a bit sickly by the end.
Amazing! They did not have the almond crossaint! ????... Sooooo another visit!! ????????
New York Times says 'world's best croissant ', perfectly flaky and worth the early morning rise to get them before they run out!
Great to visit once, but way too expensive to come back. Original croissant was very underwhelming, but the almond one was fantastic.
a bit pricey and i wasnt that impressed with the plain croissant or bacon+cheese one for that matter but the chocolate one was extremely delicious.
Unbelievable pastries ! Really good coffee to go with!
Almond croissant and lemon cruffins are highly recommended
Amazing pastries make sure you get there early so you don't miss out! Kate and Cam are awesome keep up the amazing work!
The croissants are amazing. From traditional plain to daily creations, you can’t go wrong.
Store opens at 8am! Got there quarter to 7 on sat and number 12 in queue. Some double baked items are limited (10 pieces) so if you want them better get there early. Max 6 pieces per customer.
Best croissants in Melbourne , be it original, cruffin or twice baked.
I read, “the flaky, twice-baked pecan pie croissant may be the tastiest thing I’ve ever eaten.”
Of croissants but almond the best one!
Cruffins ! Absolutely delicious, but $7 for one piece of pastry is crazy.
Be prepared to come early and queue for croissants . Eat it fresh.
$5.80 for a plain croissant is a total rip-off. It’s good but not the best I have ever had. In fact Starbucks in Shanghai has an Italian bakery with a much better one!
Great croissants , some queue, better be early
It was a very long wait . Yes the croissant was nice but if it’s a long queue I wouldn’t bother. Ham and gruyere was the best.
Almond Croissant
A little pricey but the almond croissant didn’t disappoint.
Ham and gruiyere and pecan bacon recommended. Eat it fresh!! Enjoy
Croissants , croissants , croissants .
Feel like having a perfect bakery show here????
Croissants are a little overhyped. Wouldn’t say that they are significantly better than some others I’ve had.
Did somebody say hype? Go shoot yourself Lune.
It was a different feel of cafe style ..
Parking in the area is outrageous to find and inspectors are brutal.
Queues, and they sell out by 8.30am
Take note of operating hours
no clue why its supposed to be the best croissant in the world. i think they are rather dry - not bad tho
Kouign Amann is amazing.
croissant is good but not the best. Had the original and the ham & cheese , the original is not served warm. At $6 each, once is enough. What I like is the decor.. pretty cool.. and the hot chocolate !
Open from 8AM on Saturdays and Sundays.
The Best croissant in town !
Do note that only card payment is accepted.
Croissant @ 5AUD is good (IMO Lune’s better), caneles and madeleine are great! - V▲NESS▲
This is it. I don't find a better bakery than this in Melbourne so far. High quality and nice presentation. I like they have something of the day too. - nyao foodie
For sweets, get a bomboloni or an eclair. If you want something savoury, I recommend the ham and cheese pithivier (best eaten hot - warm it up at home if needed)! - Sher Reen L
Would def be stopping by for plants for a Homemade Terrarium if I lived in Melb. Lovely & inspiring stalls. Stationery & all things inbetween to jewellery and the like. - Chloé Newby
Great place for fresh fruit, vegetables, meats, seafood, cheese, breads and other great food. You can also buy expensive rubbish from china if you're in to that kind of thing. Great for food! - ᴡ Love
Hands down the best coffee in Melbs. Ricotta hotcakes, potato hash, crab tortitta: - Junie Lau
