The Good View

Probably one of the hottest nightspot in the city . This bar and restaurant is on the bank of Mae Ping River near Nawarat bridge . The place does get very crowded particularly on Friday and Saturday.

Great place by the river with food from different cuisines, also Thai, of course, but the live music is by far too loud ! Could've been romantic ....

Not as famous as its neighbour the Riverside , but IMO it is better in all aspects. Good place to take first time visitors to Chiang Mai

Great atmosphere, crap service. 1 waiter assigned to your table - when they decide to wander off for an hour noone else serves you. They actively blank you when stopping them. Maybe a ferang thing. :/

Try the prawns in chilli and ginger and the red snapper in chilli and lime - delicious!!

Go to the pier and chill at the riverside . You will find it very chill by the perfect combination of the view and live music .

Not good for foreigners, they are oriented backwards to a second bar "for them". They don't want to take your order at the first bar crowded with thai people. Shame.

A bar/restaurant place. Aint a place for a proper dinner . Bad service. Waiters are not bothered. And really. aint a place to hv a proper intelligent conversation over dinner.Food aint that great(msg)

So disorganised. Took 20 mins to get the bill. Then another 20 to get the change. Really ruins the otherwise great atmosphere and location here.

Not for napping place , It's dancing place !!!

Most of the tables are part of non-smoking area. You have to go to the garden off the restaurant to smoke.
