Everything you want in a food court , without all the chain restaurants . Whatever cuisine or treat you desire, you can prob find it here. The lunch crowd can be heavy at times but lines move quick.
Super cute market with tons of stores selling every type of food, juice , snack you could ever want. Great place to grab lunch . Reminds me of Reading Terminal in Philadelphia.
Best food court/fresh market in loop, everything from raw food, banh mi sandwiches , artisanal chz, patisseries , kosher deli , sushi , juice bar , gourmet grilled chz, belgian frites , italian hot choco .
Mexican spot, aloha poke , Pastoral cheese , EG Sushi , Korean, great places for lunch ! Love to go in the summer and sit outside! There’s always great additions every year!
Wonderful European style open market for fresh produce , specialty meats and gourmet local artisan cheeses , breads etc. Great selection of wines and spirits too.
A bunch of great places to eat, for vegans or meateaters alike — take your pick! Frietkoten Belgian fries is a personal favourite.
All the deserts I've had are really good, like the macarons & their signature chocolate desert is amazing! Just wish the employees cared to be there.
Like Philadelphia's Reading Terminal, Chicago's 15,000 sq. ft. French Market is great for a taste bud tour . Closed Sundays, head here for local cheeses , meats, produce, and, of course, free samples .
It's easy to get overwhelmed with the crowds and all the options - but everything is really good, so you prolly can't go wrong with any vendor in there.
Beavers Coffee & Donuts rules - my favorite is the granulated and cinnamon . Delicious even before all the fancy gourmet toppings they have ???? ????
The French macarons at the Vanille Patisserie booth are addictive. They have rotating flavors such as strawberry-lemongrass, green tea , white chocolate-lychee and more,
Love, love, love this place. Stop in for groceries or prepared food. My favs: Da Lobsta and any of the cheese or pastry shops .
Lovely place I truly enjoy visiting. Options for everyone, I like buying macaroons there since there's a nice variety
Love, love, love the BLTA at Pastoral. It's a BLT on a French baguette , with avocado , and house made prosciutto ...:-)
Great place to stop if you commute into the city . Great alternative to the unhealthy selections located in the terminal. My first stop once off the train . Good place to sit & relax while waiting.
Awesome variety of vendors. The selection here is amazing both in quality and international appeal. There is indoor seating.
Expensive but worth every penny. The creme filling in the macaron is addictive.
RAW has excellent vegan food , Saigon Sisters have excellent sandwiches , and you can miss out on the Belgium fries behind them. Overall I love this place.
Love the Pastoral farmhouse veggie sandwich and the Flip crepes ... And loop juice . I could go on, the French market has a great atmosphere.
Overhyped. Some unique options for a food court (French patisserie , dim sum , Korean, Belgian frites 'n beer ) but prices are high, quality is all over the place, and the space is dingy.
Perfect for a group or by yourself. Outdoor seating is perfect, but they have indoor tables for year-round enjoyment!
Java, pistachio and red velvet Macarons are wonderful. Young man who works here is always helpful and friendly . Older Italian lady always behaves like you are bothering her, kind if grouchy!
French fries are a must (truffle mayo and sweet chili ketchup are great)
The best pastrami I've had. Montreal style at Fumare is ethereal
Meatball place has awesome subs . Definitely get some macarons at the front bakery too.
Love it! Such a refreshing alternative to boring, cafeteria options. Will definitely become a frequent flyer.
Unassuming exterior. Large, vibrant, diverse interior. Much more than just French.
You can eat outside when it's nice out. Really pretty seating on Clinton.
So many choices, but definitely grab a smoothie ! If you like avocado try the heavy avocado - duh!
Or skip the bubbles and try real-fruit Ka-Ching! juices in raspberry-lime, apple-cherry or strawberry-watermelon ($2.50 each) from the French Market’s Produce Express. Read more
Hit this Belgian-style fry shack for hand-cut fries w/ 20 different dipping sauces . Or nab Completely Nuts ' cinnamon-roasted cashews -- just wary of ravenous strangers trying to grab your nut sack. Read more
Great vegan food all over, and especially an all vegan soul-food stand in the back.
Montreal style smoked pastrami sandwich . Oh my goodness. Links: http://mobile.chicago.seriouseats.com/2011/12/a-sandwich-a-day-montreal-style-smoked-meat-fumare-meats.html
So many good options here. Great place to meet a friend for lunch during the week.
Go beyond the rainbow of macarons ... You won't be disappointed.
Don't leave without getting a macaroon from Vanillie! Way better than Delightful Pastries .
Love it! Great selection of food! You can eat healthy here.
There is something for everyone here!! Great choices for many palettes!
RAW. is amazing and so damn tasty! Try it! Also the Pulled Pork Sandwich at
I don't understand why this is listed as a grocery store . It's really a lifestyle. Hunt down as many samples as you can - it's worth it.
Great sandwich stands, and the groceries and bakeries are of excellent quality too.
At Kotel Kosher , pick up hard-to-find Israeli snacks like Bissli wheat crisps and Bamba peanut butter-flavored puffed corn : Read more
Everything is here. Never have enough time to see everything.
their macaroons are perfection.
Lots of food options and a great market atmosphere
Pick up bakery items earlier in the day. Limited selection of desserts and breads at vendors after work!
Awesome belgian fries with truffle mayo dip . Chocolate croissant at vanille patisserie is yummmmy, fasta pasta was ok u can skip it
Amazing flavored olive oils . And can't forget truffle salt . :)
Great place to try different types of food and hang out on an idyllic afternoon.
