Market District Supermarket

It's one of the only businesses open late besides the bars and clubs in Pittsburgh. I definitely like the neighborhood . The store is designed like a high-end food market , but the staff is humble.

Come drink two draft beers (their purchase limit) in the cafe before you do your shopping! Also they have a rare, "build your own 6-pack," here along with cases of beer !

If you can't find it anywhere else, you can probably find it here. If you can't, try the one in Robinson.

Make sure to bring a list as this place is insane with some of the ruder or seemingly more absent-minded people in the city and can swallow even the most cautious person. But... Best store in town .

Amazing bakery . Selection is top of the line .

Watch where you are driving because people don't pay attention and will cut you off, not let you back out, or will park on top of you!

Whatever happened to nice neat clutter free aisles. Don't throw things just anywhere for the sole purpose to have it on the sale floor

A bit overpriced but they have really good selection of stuff. Have to buy beer separately in the café

This Market District now has an olive oil/vinegar bar AND bulk trail mix , dried fruits , and nuts . Not as amazing as Settlers Ridge, but getting there. :)

Getting in and out via car can be a pain, otherwise a good place.

They have British candy here, so I'm sold. Selection is good here, produce is fresh, but avoid it on the weekends and during rush hour if you can.

The garage has an exit and entrance on Negley. It's game changing for avoiding traffic around the main entrance.

Only Giant Eagle I ever seen with a parking garage !

Be aware of your surroundings as the aisles are tiny and there are people and carts everywhere ALL THE TIME!! No need for manors here

This place is laid out like a Lewis Carroll novel . Leave plenty of time to hunt, especially if you are trying to buy organic anything.

To checkout quick, use self checker. Has shorter lines and easy to use.

Pro-tip: Ready your advantage card before visiting the register.

The most useless, inept baggers reside here. A few good ones but for the most part pack your own bags if you care about squishing.

The deli guy always sees me coming and has my deli meat ready and wrapped before I get to the counter.

If you want to keep your sanity GO AT NIGHT!

Check and make sure that you got all your stuff before you leave the store.. They are really terrible with this I don't know how hard it is to do their job

Don't use the self-checkouts. Lines are always so long because no one knows how to use them properly!

This store is great if you come EARLY in the morning.

Great store with great deals. The front store cashiers can be very rude.

Don't come on Steeler game days unless you absolutely have to. It's always packed.
