Great place for kids of all ages. Great visual stimulation for my 6 month old daughter as she tracked the butterflies as they flew accross the main room. Will definitely come back when she is older.

Just pick a spot to stand still as lots (and lots) of butterflies fly all around you. And if you aren't into butterflies then check out the spider, scorpion and other creepy, mean bugs section.
Beautiful butterflies, birds and plants great place to connect with nature!!
The walkthrough butterfly & bird exhibits are outdoors. If you go on a rainy day (like we did) you'll get soaked.but you can ask for a rain check.
One of the best butterfly habitats out there. This is only boring if you have the attention span of a peanut

the vine maze has some interesting flower specimens that are available in the garden center
Butterfly World at 12 miles to the north of Smile Design Dental of Fort Lauderdale
Admission is about $25/adult, but it's worth every penny. Pay an extra $1 at the Lorikeet enclosure to be able to feed the birds , an amazing experience.
We went on Mother's day at a discounted rate, not worth the full price. The butterfly part was awesome everything else was blah. I would prefer paying full price at fairchild gardens .
Visit the first butterfly house in the United States , the largest butterfly house in the world!

Loved the whole set up and enjoyed feeding nectar to the parrots in the aviary .
Beautiful flowers everywhere with a compliment of various species of butterflies and birds
Go early when the 10,000 butterflies are most active. Watch them fly, court, feed, bask in sun. Average life of a butterfly in the free-flight aviary is 14 days.
Getting to view 20,000 butterflies makes for a fun-filled, majestic day for families!
Loved taking my nephew Jack there with my mother when he was a year old and visiting Florida. He loved it when the butterflies landed on him.
This was well worth the money!! Go on a 75degree day or less. It's mostly outdoors and wear mosquito repellent.

Great for kids
On way to Butterfly World for Cassandra Bday, got rear ended by lady who wasn’t watching what she was going. Told me light was green. Light was not even close.
