Washington Park

Literally my favorite part of Albany, I walk through it everyday and love every second of it, especially with all of the???????????? ???? during spring.

BEAUTIFUL PARK with OUTSTANDING FOUNTAINS, SCULPTURE, MATURE PLANTINGS with A BREATH TAKING BOAT HOUSE out of the GREAT GATSBY! Not to forget THEATER IN THE PARK ! GREAT ALL OVER EXPERIENCE!

This is one of my favorite places. Watching the sun set behind the Moses fountain should be on your bucket list! The picture doesn't even do it justice.

Best walk in the park .. Is just before sunset cuz it gets cooler :)

What was Washington Park? The State Street Burial Ground. When Washington Park was designed, approximately 40,000 bodies had to be transferred to the Albany Rural Cemetery in the 1840s.

Take a stroll with the kids or bring a good book . You can also fish in the lake .

Walking, sightseeing, picnics . In the fall it gets beautiful!

Parking is terrible here. Take the shuttle. Check out all the arts , lots of great mothers day gifts .

The tulips are already popping but if you want to see them in all their glory, check out the 62nd annual Tulip Festival , Saturday and Sunday, May 8 and 9, starting at 11 a.m. Music , food and fun.

Great place for free theatre . They do a great job!

It's just a park . Someone told me to go here comparing it to Central Park , you will be disappointed if that's your expectation.

The police are fast to give out parking tickets at this park .
