The Boat & Horses was originally built in 1804, and was known as the Pleasure Boat Inn before receiving its present name in 1826. The construction of the M60 caused substantial damage to the foundations of the Boat & Horses and the pub was completely rebuilt in 1999.

Its a nice pub , especially when its sunny and you can sit outside
Can't beat the traditional breakfast for just £3.99.
Food is very good. It's a carvery.
Try the steak . Its something you'll never forget. Mainly because it might have rat droppings in it, but still! Delicious :/
Nice Burgers
The food is great! :)
Fantastic Hangover Food
Ordered Piri Piri Chicken while my Girlfriend opted for Carvery, she waited for 40 minutes before going to get hers and mine still had not come, after an hour and it had been forgoten, had money back
Great value breakfasts
It used to be a lovely place for lunch , but carvery isn't worth the money anymore. Shame :(

Good pub, standard Beefeater food and Costa coffee - Rebecca Murphy
Good service and attentive staff and the foods brilliant no matter what you have. Brilliant play area for kids as well. - Sammy Davison
Cheap stuff in bulk. Cheap snacks, too - pizza, hotdogs and chicken wraps. Worth a visit if you want to bulk up. - Paul Baldowski
