If you enjoy fishing ....the lake contains a wide variety of game fish including smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, perch , carp, bluegill, crappie, sunfish, walleye and northern pike.
Saratoga Lake is a freshwater lake in the eastern part of Saratoga County , New York. The lake is approximately 4.5 miles long, about 1.5 miles wide at its widest point, and about 95 feet deep.
The lake 's major source is the Kayaderosseras Creek which enters the lake from the north west, & the outlet is Fish Creek, which exits the lake from the north & flows into the Hudson at Schuylerville.
There is a great Kayak launch and rental shack. Rates are reasonable and the tranquility is amazing.
