The staple in my dining adventures, I've eaten at the County 1-2 times per week for the last two years. The cocktails are magnificent. Come with a friend and get one of the 'for two' dishes.
The County General's greatest asset is their bar staff - friendly and deliver on drinks. Recommend visiting during warmer months when the patio is open as the wait for a table isn't as long.
Chicken for 2 can be shared with 3 with a side appetizer . Amazing fried chicken they have!!!
KFC Sandwich : Normally served family style in a big wad on the middle of the table. Ask for the sandwich version and they will make you a Korean Fried Chicken sandwich . Read more
I'm not a sit at the bar kind of guy, but get a seat at the bar here - it makes for great camaraderie and good service . Very likely the best burger in the city .
The Caesar is to die for! Homemade liquid spice mix consisting if 13 ingredients goes in before the clamato. Gahhhh
Tight space that fills up quickly. The menu is fairly small with limited variety. They also put their own spin on things so your order might not be what you expected.
Sooo my BF and I finally tried the fried chicken sandwich . It was yummy but now we're going to get street meat. It was a mini sandwich . Not exaggerating. Too bad. For $12, not a great value .
The chicken thigh sandwich is as good as advertised. Get the fries instead of the salad ; their salad is different from what I expected.
It was good. Not great. Servers were awesome. It's a bit "rustic " for my liking. We shared the flank steak -- it's served in an unusual way with salsa and corn tortillas . Tasty -- just not my thing.
The fried chicken for two was delicious and a fun experience. You eat if off a piece of paper!
Fried chicken was full of flavour served on your table. Messy but so worth it!
Their caesars are a must-try. Not on the menu anymore I don't think but you can ask for one.
Gourmet but casual — the County General’s specialty is its fried chicken sandwich on a buttermilk biscuit with avocado chutney .
Amazing service, great food and drinks! Will definitely be coming back!
Best pork buns I've ever tried. I could eat plate after plate of these
Monday Bourbon brunch ! special menu offered. 2 dishes, Caesar, and dessert for $20 !
Amazing sports TV ! Bigger than the outside allows!
Their Caesars and Chicken Thigh Sandwiches with Fried Egg are my favourite!!
Bourbon and rum have their own menu—25 kinds of bourbon , 33 kinds of rum—and provide the base for most cocktails http://goo.gl/yuHD2
We ordered the fried chicken for two and it pretty dry and it took some real effort to finish it all.
The cocktails are amazing and the bar staff are so friendly !
Order Fried Chicken for Two and get ready to eat your fingers!
Great cocktails . Jeremy at the bar is awesome.
It wasn't rated the best sandwich in TO for nothing: chicken thigh sandwich is amazing!
Come with your people and sample it ALL. Is it acceptable to lick the plate of others people's meals...?!!!
Pork Tacos ! Great Ontario wine list . Too busy to get a table? They do take-out.
this asian fried chicken is a m a z i n g
Fried chicken two ways is two times tasty. Great garnishes . Plenty for 2.
The "KFC" Chicken is enough for 4 people.Secret menu available online.
Killer chicken thigh sandwich !
The burger is incredibly delicious and a perfect size.
Most perfectly cooked eggs on my Benny!!
Best chicken thigh sandwich ever! Great atmosphere too!
Terrible. 15 $ for two sunny side eggs 1 piece of overcooked bacon and 2 tiny toasts. They should try to make something in their brunch somewhat interesting
Brutal service for a Friday night sitting at the bar . Chicken was undercooked too.
Any suggestions? I'm going at 8pm.
David Lee, chef of Nota Bene, eats here on his nights off. He loves the Pork buns . Read more
You won't regret the fried chicken
HAVE the pork buns ... Really, just do it.
Amazing caesars!!!
Manhattan is incredible but be aware it's $18.
I wanted to like this but the eggs Benny were the worst. So under poached that when I cut into them they disintegrated and almost ran off my board. There is something to be said about plates.
Try the fried chicken sandwich---unbelievably light and juicy!
Make sure u get Jillian at the bar . She'll get ya wasted.
Their french omlette is to die for
Fried chicken is really good but wayyy too small for me to justify ordering it again. Not great value IMO
Aja is fantastic. Thanks for not making me feel weird for my third time here today!
A friend saw a left over feather in a pork sandwich . There wasn't even supposed to be chicken ! The waitress didn't see empathetic at all. Wouldn't come back to this place.

Get the granola or biscuits and gravy for brunch. Amazing coffee! A must for brunch in King West. - Tom Emrich
Off-leash dog bowl. Hipsters galore. Wonderful acroyoga and slackline communities. Great playground. Lots of space to picnic and drink. LOVE THIS PARK!! - Vivian
Best coffee in the area for the price. Plus it's by the park, so grab an iced Americano and go chill out in the park. Win win. - Nessa Grant
