Good for south Indian food . Not that spicy , but would still recommend specifying your spice level. Any Thali (or) 2-to-3-course-indian-meal (South or North) can easily fill one's appetite.
Delicious south Indian food . My favorite is combo1 - little bit of best stuff. Though you have to let go off any expectation of good service . It is un-emotional type, can be very slow on busy times.
The special meal will let you sample all this place has to offer fairly widely. And it does have a lot of tasty things to offer!
Great selection for the south indian palette. Wide variety from dosas , upmas to full meals. A culinary paradise for south indians . Service is sloppy sometimes, but worth the time n money.
Kaima idli is the best here. Never miss it if you visit this place. Their filter coffee is also awesome. Their dosas are mediocre but they make good uttappams
The ambience is very good and service is good too. The food quality and taste is pretty good as you would expect of Saravana Bhavan. They have good south indian sweets in their shop as well .
No idea why it's under "North Indian restaurants " in this all. It's as South Indian as South Indian gets. Loved it! Dosas , vada sambar and the lunch Thali . ❤️
Saravana spl meal is a luxurious meal with a lot to offer. Loved it! Do try rava dosas , ghee pongal and buttermilk here. Kaima idli was a disaster though!
Amazing freaking south Indian food . Mixed vegetable parotta rocks. The sandwich dosa isn't too bad either. Service kind of sucks though if you don't speak in Tamil.
Always crowded !!! But love eating out there. The one thing i hate about this place is tables are so close to each other that you can just eat off your neighbour's plate
super authentic food :). If you're a newbie to South Indian food (and dont mind spicy food ), try the paratta (with a side order of raita ), paper masala dosa and a mango lassi drink!
For a traditional South Indian meal , go with Sambar vada and an onion chili masala dosa . (For those, this place is authentic as you can get.)
Thali with chapati is a great lunch option. Love all the chickpea dishes and dosas .
Great customer service. We lost our fitbit near the parking lot yesterday and a gentleman from the staff had securely kept it till we called and returned.
Try out Saravana Special Meals to experience a truly complete south-indian lunch . Includes the delicious Vatha Kuzhambu :) Rice is however, pretty small in quantity esp if you are hungry enough!
Awesome food! Delighted to eat at the pure vegetarian restaurant . Parota and filter coffee are brilliant...
Tiffin items are good but wasn't impressed with their white chutney . Executive meal is so filling, go for it if you are dead hungry. Must try their Poori and aalu sabzi.
Awesome joint for South Indian food . love mini idli, dosa and South Indian coffee .
Medu Vada, Kaima Idly, and Uttappam here is the best you can get away from home. +1
Totally remodeled the place. Very neat and nice. Food as always - the best.
Butter milk , 14pc idli, masala dosa , South Indian filter coffee .best thing ever :-)
Masala dosa & authentic sambhar will leave you with a smile on!
Don't expect customer service, my dish arrived after my husband was done with his dinner . Server gave excuse that my dosa take time, well you could start my husband dish later :)
Best sambar in town . Hands down.
Typical. They are conservative when it comes to serving chutney , don't forget to ask while you order!
My menu is always... 14 idly, onion rava , & coffee !
Delhi's hangout in Bay area....the best South Indian place! Try everything on the menu..every thing tastes heavenly! :)
Channa Batura is really good and not too spicy :) And it's HUGE.
It's nice... I liked the sambar but I still prefer anjappar chettinad :)
The tomato soup is out of this world! And if you like spicy , you'll love kaima idly!
If u r up for spicy food , try the khaima idly - it is awesomely spicy ...
Great dosas but because this place is always busy, service is getting worse. Also the amount of filling is one-third what it was 2 years ago. I'm not full from my meal.
Dosas are sub par. Go for uthappams or sambar dishes
Awesome food! Try the Rava dosa ...
If you can stand a little spicy food , the kaima idly here is fantastic!
While food is good and maybe one of the best south indian in south bay , service really sucks
ive had their dosas .. most are good (masala ) some not so good. They used to have pictures on their menu which made it easier to order. Today: tomato onion chilli uthappam .. yummy. Service is poor.
Kaima idly is great during lunch hours mostly (barring few days when they mess it up)! Ordering the same for dinner is a bad idea, they give you stale stuff..
You will get authentic South Indian dishes here.
Food is cheap .. Revamped ambience is good but the wait time is insane..
Good South Indian food ! Global chain
Onion Rava Masala Dosa
Good south indian food . Quality is better now and so is the pricing.
They don't serve Jain sambar . Must start that !
Kaara dosa is awesome..
Great South Indian Food , Dont forget Rava Masala Dosa
Good food but I do not find this place clean enough!
Food! Good food! Lota of food!
Get the Kara Dosa if you like spice. The food is amazing but the service is terrible.
Definitely try mixed vegetable parotta (MVP)
Amazingly mutton roast is the best dish we enjoyed time to time. Between compliments to all menus on board specially to the appam and stuffed dosa with Keemas! Forget not to sip a hot filter coffee ! - Anoop Baalu
Best south indian (tamil) breakfast. Dont miss the pongal, vada, coconut chutney and ofcourse the filter coffee. - Abilash
Sitaphal ice cream is simply delish. Also one must try walnut & Figs flavor. - Sarmishtha Sinha
The theater update is pretty dang swanky. Big cushy seats all through the place! Which recline to your heart's content! And assigned-seat reservations to boot! It's a lovely moviegoing experience now. - Anthony Youhas
