Nice pub ,the atmosphere is quite unique to be a Nicholson's.food is good and so the beers (I had a pale ale )...one wrong thing: the double hair coloured waitress ,she is rude, slow and unprofessional!

Emma S.

Cozy place, delicious food and great choice of music .

Rita Pucci

This place is super good. We had fish and chips and was great!

Darrell James

I have eaten at many of the Nicholson’s pubs . Of course they all have the same menu. Somehow Conan Doyle does it better. The haggis with neeps and tatties was fantastic!

JL C

If you're here to try the haggis , have the starters portion. It's exactly the same like the mains, just very slightly smaller in size. I don't think anyone could finish that large a size of the mains.

Good food, good service .

Chanda Gohrani

Ambience is good and the food is good too. But the staff is horrible. They are either rude or dumb.

Irene Marchioro

The service is slow and poor.the waitress with double coloured hair is rude, pompous and unprofessional.the pub is fine apart for that person!

Paul Sinclair

What the hell happened to this place! Used 2 be a great boozer with a quality Juke Box Now you can only get a seat if your eating! Only 4 tables if u want a drink. No good used to be a haunt not now

Carol Chen

Beer-battered mushrooms were yummy

Karen Hurst

The food isn't good enough to justify it being £10 a course.

Andy Lobban

Seems to have had an overhaul recently. Now overly expensive for what is still and very average boozer .

El Rib-eye es realmente bueno así como el salmos
