I love thai food !!! You can't lose.....spicy curries and creative fusions. Love Vi{v}! The bathroom is super cool too...there's a black light and a floral mural on the wall that accents. Must go!

Quite trendy Thai Restaurant and Bar . Food was excellent and the portions are big. If you're alone you might want to skip the appetizer or you'll feel very stuffed after the main course.

You must order the delicious Chiang Mai sausage appetizer with its galangal and lemon grass flavors. The uber hip Pok Pok sells these for twice the price & for half as much.

There are few NYC restaurants that rise above Americanized curry & Pad Thai offerings. ViV is one of them. Not only authentic , but they serve Chiang Mai dishes & you don't have to pay Pok Pok prices.

Very authentic Thai dishes at one of the best in NYC. Even the decor transports you and makes you feel like you are in a club on Sukhumvit Road in Bangkok. (they can be forgiven for the crab rangoon .)

Ordered the Viv curry noodles , pad Thai and Thai sausage fried rice . Everything was excellent, but definitely headed back for the Thai sausage fried rice . Great happy hour menu

For a hearty appetizer , order the BBQ Short Ribs . The ribs are marinated in an Asian sauce and not BBQ sauce from the Kraft sense of the word.

Excellent quality food that reminds me of what I've had in Thailand. They also have nice $5 happy hour drink specials . Very nice decor too.

Chic , cozy new bar in HK. Drinks were nice to look at and even better to taste. Service is good and friendly , even complimentary lemon drops , thank you! HK welcomes VIV to the neighborhood : )

I'm not sure why crab rangoon is on the menu since it is an American invention from Trader Vics. The dead giveaway is the cream cheese . Try and find cheese in any real Southeast Asian or Chinese dish .

There are a lot of Thai places in NYC; but V{IV} is the best. Northern Thai food dishes differentiates then from other Thai places in the city . Never had a bad meal here.

Like this place. Modern look and similar feel to other trendy 9th Ave spots. Food is ok, servers are handsome. Papaya salad is fresh and tangy , but fried tofu was dry, green curry not spicy enough.

Try the Beef Short Rib appetizer . Probably one of our favorite dishes in the city . Be sure not to miss the flavorful sauce at the bottom of the dish. Divine!

Must try the mataba . It’s a pan fried roti (not too far off from Caribbean roti ) with a rich curry sauce . Delicious.

You'll get some funky smells in this place but the atmosphere and great service is well worth it.

They have the same lunch special as Room Service (app and entree for under $7) but it goes until 4 and they have an A rating.

Food was ok, the service was horrible the staff took their time at least half an hour to bring me my bill and I was in a rush make me late to pick up my son from school I was not happy poor service
