Sr. Fado

Its family business , small place owned by wife and husband. They coke and serve the food, then they perform life music afterwards along with their son and his friend. The most friendly hosts ever :)

If you want an authentic Fado experience in Alfama this is the place to go. Good food but a bit expensive . Worth it for the experience though!

Meat or fish , red or white wine . No menu, no choice. You're house guest here closed in the small room. Get it all together with amateur Fado, though really expressive. Fix price 90€ for two.

All tourists , but it only holds 25 people and was a good value at EUR 45. bBetter than average food, a pretty good amount of wine and nice fado (to my untrained ears). Did not feel like a tourist trap

Cozy , the alfadu is great

Total tourist trap and complete rip off. A very tight squeeze and you'll be asked to share tables with strangers. There are better ways to use 45 euros. Also, no credit cards, of course.

Excelente Cataplana (pescados y marisco ) y ambiente; muy amables. Los dueños cuando terminan de cocinar salen a cantar fados con un grupo de amigos. 35-45€ por persona. RECOMENDADO
