Amazing pint of Guinness . This is a hidden gem just north of dublins city center. Mostly a local crowd dotted with some tourists that have elected to go off the beaten path.
Great pub with lovely atmosphere and pints of Guinness . Be careful tho'... Their clock is 20 minutes fast! And if they flash the lights for last orders early at midnight, they mean it.
You have to take a bus and walk up an all-but-invisible alleyway to reach Gravediggers, but there's something unabashedly wonderful about the place that keeps regulars coming back for lifetimes. Read more
Ask to see “The Book ” and see the signatures of some past patrons and then sign it yourself. The bartenders will show you some of their notable favorites as well .
Cosy restaurant . The food was excellent and so was the service. We've tried almost everything and except the potato wedges ???? everything was really tasty.
My favourite pub on this earth. Love the atmosphere, the tapas , the conversation and of course the Guinness .
The pub has been here since 1833, it feels like you have stepped back to that time. Read more
Best Guinness in Dublin . Creamy and far too drinkable. It's also a dark dingy authentic pub containing many lovely locals.
Everything ♥️♥️tapas is so good staff are just so lovely and the best pint of Guinness in Ireland ????????
We had a pint at the bar and had the opportunity to talk with the owner! One of the greatest experience's we had in Ireland !
Great for lunch ! (non-liquid kind) Check if blackberry crumble is on and save some room for it. If "platter" is on the lunch menu , take it.
Best pub and Guinness in Dublin , if not Ireland ! Proper old school bar
Great tapas friendly staff ans the best pint of Guinness in Dublin
The gravediggers from the adjacent Glasnevin Cemetery had a secret serving hatch so that they could drink on the job, hence the pub’s nickname.
The Guinness is great. The tapas is good, but not the best I have had. The green outside is nice on a summer day
Conversation and song were once the only entertainment in a proper pub . They still are, here. For more local tips, follow us on 4sq or check out www.renhotels.com.
Gorgeous pub but can be hard to find a seat. Great Guinness .
Beautiful pint of Guinness in atmospheric old pub , not to be missed!
Food is great staff lovely and a fine pint of Guinness
Don't forget your cash. The pub doesn't take credit card . Nearest ATM is in spar.
i can’t explain why but this is the best pint in dublin
Cool bar , may meet couple of ghosts as well :)
Final night. Allegedly the best Guinness in Ireland
Best pint of Guinness ever!
The best guinness by far
Best pint of Guinness you can get. *Anywhere*
Love Guinness
Another Glasnevin spot that rocks on a sunny day. Get a pint in a plastic glass and drink it on the grassy square outside.
Very local pub , not a place for tourists .
Nice place
Gorgeous tapas here, try the prawn noodle salad !
Have a pint of Guinness in the bar of the Gravediggers (never the lounge )
This the pub that featured in James Joyce's novel Ulysses.
Get em while they're fresh
Great pints in general, great value, lovely bar staff, amazing food and a really good atmosphere. This has become our local & we are in here at least twice a week! - Chrissy Hughes
Great music, good service. A cool, quiet, comfortable place. You can drink for good prices - Mary Sol Casado
One of my best pub in Dublin. Often end up there for the night, the club downstairs is quite quirky and music is different every time. You're in for a good night! - Will St Martin
One of the prettiest place in Dublin ❤️ Relax and a lot to see!! And it's freeeee - Alice D'alessandro
