What a pleasant surprise! Everything we ordered was great! Oysters , Grilled octopus , crab cake , the Tuna (ohhh the Tuna !) and the dessert ! If they have the Baja California Red wine , that’s superb!

This might be my favorite seafood restaurant yet. The lobster roll is great and the oysters were great. However the most unique thing I've had was the chowder fries amazing. Sit at the kitchen counter

Everything is EXCELLENT: food, service, atmosphere... I couldn’t have asked for more. I ordered the “big platter” just for myself and along with Riesling it’s been extraordinary.

Had lunch : Bahia falsa oysters . Great. Lobster roll . good. Had dinner : hood oyster . good. Chilled lobster lacked some salt. Calamari was good but I didn't like sauce. Overall: go raw and you'll b good

Second time around and still impressed with the quality of the seafood & cooking. Happy hour starts at 3pm with a special drinks menu & 5-6 dishes of tapas style snacks .

Get. The. Lobster . Roll. I'm sure everything else on their menu is delicious too. But the lobster roll was out of this world. I can't wait to go back!!!

The Big fresh platter was scrummy - but I could have eaten it all by myself. Had to supplement it with a whole Maine Lobster . Horseradish was AMAZING!! Aperol Spritz was perfect.

Lobster roll , fish & chips , and chowder fries were all VERY good. Be aware their kale Cesar salad is very traditional and comes with anchovies and a soft boiled egg . Great ambiance. Would recommend!

All of the seafood is excellent. We had crab cakes , lobster roll , oysters , mussels . The decor is fantastic. The veggies are lacking. The salads are overdressed. I wish they had simple green beans .

Ordered the lobster roll and it was delish. Substituted the fries for coleslaw and that was good too. Polite wait staff and the ambience is fun. Dinner is a little more hectic. Love the octopus arms!

I've found this place just by walking around. Best place for sea food in San Diego. Try grilled octopus . Ceviche was not like a Peruvian style. Oysters are yummy and try lobster roll especially.

Beautiful space feels almost hidden, even on a lively street. Great seafood (lobster roll and octopus were both amazing), service, and ambience. Grab a reservation if you can!

Try the lobster roll , it is really good. If you're gonna try the Ironside bread , just to let you know it is very sweet almost like a cake and it has an orangey taste. Try their beer menu too.

Grab the fish tacos during lunch or happy hour . They're only available until 6 before dinner and are killer. A bit of kick to them too.

Came for the happy hour 3-6pm, shared a lobster roll , got the ceviche and some drinks. Everything was delicious.

we arrived at 15.00 when they offer bar menu,but we really wanted to order octopus from the lunch menu is available till 14.99 and despite what host told us waiter took an order. Overall great food.

Good ceviche and oysters . Pasta with butter and parmesan for the kids. Really weird bathrooms with an almost glory hole setup, so do with that info what you will.

This place is a gem! They have an amazing wine and cocktail list . The crab cake was one of our favorite appetizers .

No secret here; the oysters and cocktails are great. The drink list can be overwhelming, but the staff is very helpful in suggesting ones based on your taste.
