Ashbourne Marketplace

I grew up here, the town has changed a lot in the past 20 years with a lot of the cute shops and cages being taken over by chains. But I would recommend the chippie and Ashbourne gingerbread !

The marketplace is usually a car park , but you can just drive over thr pavement at any point to enter (you're not supposed to!). This leads to TERRIBLE driving, screwing up A-road.traffic. Be careful!

Trying to find sainsburys or the bus station in this town is a nightmare. Both are well hidden behind Lloyds-TSB bank , go up the road at the side of the bank to find them.

Could actually park for once!!

Market days are Thursdays & Saturdays.
