Reservations are recommended but we enjoy sitting at the bar , stuffing our faces with pastas and pizzas while watching the bartenders whip up amazing cocktails and swooning over their bourbons .

Mmm...everything we had was delicious!!! My favorites were the belly ham pizza and the apple dumpling !

We were in a rush for an event and they were very accommodating. Great service. I would try the whole trout , the belly ham pizza , and the catfish . Yummy.

The pork belly pizza and the octopus appetizer were excellent. So was the sicilian white wine

Inventive southern influenced cuisine. Skip the pizzas and try one of the entrees which are more creative. Cocktails are also very good.

Get the most out of your meal here by sharing small plates — the thin crust mozzarella pizza and octopus with butter beans are two of our favorites.

Fab place. If here on a Sunday , recommend chinese cabbage and pork meatballs as starters. Pizza we really liked: spinach and ricotta .

Most locals regale Chef Tandy Wilson as the pioneer who brought downtown back. CITY HOUSE is the fan favorite among chefs and where many of them eat on their nights off.

This place is delicious. We had a family style dinner . Everything was great! The wait staff is incredibly knowledgable and helpful.

The smoked trout is amazing! The meatballs were terrific and everyone should try the belly ham pizza ! And great service!

Vegans : ask for the vegan pizza . It's just sauce with sliced garlic and olives , but it's really wonderful.

If you come for a 9:30pm reservation , prepare to feel a bit rushed through dinner . Less exciting and delicious from my previous visit.

This is one great place! Super cool atmosphere that takes you out of Nashville. Try their octopus dish!

Good selection of wines by the glass. Also, I recommend sitting at the bar that overlooks the kitchen.

Best Margheritta Pizza in the world. Order it soon, order it often. Also, they have one of the best selections of Scotch and Whisky you will ever find.
