The Eagle OTR

One of my favorite restaurants in the beautiful Over-the-Rhine district. Phenomenal dark chicken , must try their honey as it has a spicy kick along with Mac 'n' cheese , spoon bread and a Rhinegeist!

I was greatly surprised by the great tasting food here. I was expecting regular chicken and fries , but instead found a new take on an old classic with great sides that rival the chicken !

Do yourself a favor and get the spoon bread . Best cornbread you'll ever have! Delicious fried chicken and awesome mac & cheese !

Fried chicken sandwich and a giant Bloody Mary with loads of toppings. The perfect weekend lunch .

One of my favorites in the OTR. Try the chili/lime hominy. Rotating beer taps! If you get the chicken sandwich , share it, it's huge!

Wait for table was long but well worth it. Probably the best fried chicken mac and cheese and cornbread I had outside of the south. Would definitely go again.

2nd best fried chicken I've had, which is saying a lot! Love the fried chicken sand which is topped with slaw , but really you can't go wrong with any choice here!

Fried chicken is delish--tender and has a nice little kick. Order some sides like the mac and cheese--creamy with crunchy breadcrumbs sprinkled on top--or spoonbread--like sweet cornbread ...

Holy cats! Best chicken and taters I've ever had! Chey our waitress was great, and the local brews were great as well . Can't beat it.

Everyone says fried chicken . But, match it up with the spoon bread . And try a local craft beer . Get the bacon as a starter.

You can probably get away with splitting the chicken sando with a friend. The Philly style roast pork sandwich is a hidden gem .

The fried chicken was a revelation. Also, I'd never tried sweet potatoes before, and my mind was blown. Busy, but service was still great.

Fried chicken very tender but batter too salty. Mac & cheese delicious,super cheesy. Spoonbread too bland and kale/artichoke dip good flavor but runny. Place is young and hipster love the rustic decor

Go anytime except Friday/Saturday late nights to avoid the 2-hour wait

OMG the corn and spoon bread were both fabulous! Don't bother buying a pitcher of The Eagle Ice Tea it's super watered down.
