Has been open since 1792. Great real ales .

Murray Kenneth

Nice atmosphere, honest pub food and good service . 3 courses for £15 at Sunday lunch a real bargain. Oh, and a good selection of ales .

Roger

Great bar food . Open fire . Proper pub

Liam McMurray

Great bar for the rugby , also serves good food and cans of Natch. Do not underestimate the latter

Oleg Kaplan

Czech beer kozel excellent here. Also good cider

Hector Simpson

Gem and London Pride sat next to each other and Rec adjacent. What more could you ask for.

Chris B

Very friendly people. Good pub food

Kay Brownsey

Bitterly disappointed. Beef was a bit tough, no horseradish served, had to ask. Roast potatoes tasted like frozen ones. Yorkshire pudding looked homemade , but possibly cooked earlier and reheated.

Bradley Willis

Great pub for everyone, bit pricey , quality ales on tap .

Seb Ashton
