They have separate sides for rhe small dogs and the big dogs , so no need to worry about anything bigger than a corgi trying to initiate play with your toy breed.
Las Palmas Dog Park; only dog park in Sunnyvale, CA. Check out pictures. No grass . Imagine contaminated (disease ridden) dust clouds your dog is breathing. Some people bring their children. UNHEALTHY!
Lots of shade on the small dog side so that the small ones don't overheat!
Very nice but sometimes some inconsiderate people decide to bring their huge puppies and they scare small dogs ????????
People shouldn't bring dog treats to the park . It's a silly thing that can even make dogs to fight!! Leave the treats home!!!
No grass in the gated area. Dried dust surface contaminated with dried urine. Some dogs get the runs. Dogs kick up the dust and they are breathing the dried urine, runny pooh, and who knows what.
Sand and grass for dogs to run and do their thing on.
Listen carefully for the squawks of the Sunnyvale flock of parrots. Once you hear them, if you're lucky you may see them too! They sometimes hang out in this park .
