Great Pub , reportedly the oldest licenced pub in Manchester, not sure about that but it's certainly one of the oldest. It was taken over by Nicholsons and revamped, sadly they removed the pizza oven
Nice place for a good chat in the middle of the day, a good place to while away a few hours. Read more
Great pint today white witch by Moorhouse brewery wish I had not eaten the menu looks amazing
Lovely traditional pub . Great beer and a warm atmosphere.
Great food, great servings!
The Pizza here are really good!
Recently been taken over by Nicholson 's Pubs , much nicer now!
Came to watch the Formula 1, nice big TV but unfortunately no audio due to limitations of audio/visual setup. Ended up watching F1 with football audio that was playing elsewhere in the pub . Fail.
The chairs may look comfortable but they are nothing but abusive and offensive to your bottom.
Terrific blues bands on regularly
Some of the chairs need new springs!
Beer and music
2 burgers for 10 quid :)
the 'Wreckless' ???? was the end of my night. Loved the austrian style tables. Great choice of beer, great atmosphere - Lloyd Henderson
Good service, nice hamburgers and really lovely place. Also cheaper! - Manuel Portela
The kind of bar that is a must if you want to see some football, with a beer and some atmosphere. - Rob Nesbit
We did the stadium & academy tour. Everyone we came in to contact with at the club was super helpful and friendly. Graham our guide was great - very knowledgeable and did a great job personalizing - Natalie Jones
Tables usually sticky. But perfect place to meet a large group of people as there is so much space, and reasonable prices. It's also pretty swanky for a Whetherspoons. - Ian J Watson
Tony and his catchphrases make this the very best karaoke venue in Manchester. Friday & Saturday nights. - Rich Daley
