Really nice spot, there's a cozy living room and downstairs a proper space for tables. I had the cappuccino and a chocolate chip cookie (the perfect combination if you like sweet but not too sweet).
Cozy cafe in true Monocle styled modern decor . There is a small "living room" in the back of the cafe that provides sofa seatings for patrons. Great place to spend a morning here with coffee & books .
Katsu Chicken Sandwich FTW! Iced tea comes in a cute flask - perfect drink for summer weather. Matcha hot chocolate is good too.
The coffee is excellent! Possibly the best I’ve had in London. Drinking this delicious cup of goodness with the complimentary piece of dark chocolate made my day! Staff are also super friendly !
Yes, this place is about the infamous trendy magazine Monocle. It's cool, there are hipsters around and the prices are Monocle-ish. Try the pumpkin cheese cake , I personally loved it.
Nice café with great (Japanese) lunch options. The katsu sandwich was very good! Very nice interior. Avoid sitting in the basement though, it was really hot and muggy there.
My absolute favourite! I love the neighborhood and the atmosphere. Food and coffee excellent. I go there every time I'm in London to get inspired and a cosy feeling
Cinnamon buns are so delicious specially when you take a cup of coffee with it. #cinnamon_bun #flat-white @monocle café ????
Fantastic cafe . I tried the Americano and green tea panna cotta which were absolutely irresistible. The Americano had a creamy layer on the top!!
Flat white of this boutique coffeshop is one of the best in town . Prices are relatively higher, but you will enjoy this cosy place , after a long day.
Very stylish but laid back and unpretentious. Great place to have some quiet time or a good chat with a friend. The flat whites are good and presented in a way consistent with the Monocle style .
One of my beloved magazines opened a café a couple years ago. This magazine is actually very interested in coffee and hip stuff. Result? A very hip café with lots of quality products.
The best and most authentic matcha latte you’ll find in London. It’s creamy and made of high quality matcha . They source baked goods from Fabrique, including the famous cinnamon buns .
Nice place , warm and the coffee smell all over the place " black ice " is must
I keep coming back for the cardamom bun + flat whites . Worth it every single time.
Neither coffee nor cinnamon bun was anything to shout home about but it's a good place to come for some quiet time. https:// instagram.com/p/6UjAWLIS37/
Surprisingly down to earth service in this mini cafe . Not as 'Monocle' as you'd expect it to be. Coffee and pastries are perfect, cute outdoor seats out front. Friendly staff .
Coffee is so, so good. Lovely decor and service always on point. In my Top 10 coffee shops in London. It's that good.
A piece of Japan in Marylebone. Minimalist cafe that serves Japanese-Western food and baked goods . Their matcha latte is worth getting. Can get crowded on a weekend!
Small and stylish café serving delicious pastries in a perfectly designed space. Grab a cup, the press and relax between shopping sessions
Love the flat white . They have a decent avocado toast with halloumi
Barista dude knows nothing about coffee , the English Breakfast tea comes with "a hint of vanilla ", and a slice of cake costs £5. In other words, perfectly Monocle.
Very good flat white . AWESOME cardamom bun ❤
The best matcha place in town , they have a cozy setup which works out great on a rainy day.
Cozy modern design , very comfortable . Wonderful staff and delicious drinks! The aperol spritz is very good.
Good deal for magazine and drink (£6). Nice flat white and cinnamon bun (although not exactly like the Scandinavian version).
Matcha lovers will appreciate the matcha latte here, also you get a little chocolate to go with any drink:)
Green tea panna cotta was delicious, as was the tea . Lounge area very cosy but those stools are bloody uncomfortable!
Coffee is always well made here. I've never read a bad coffee . Try finding a spot in the back room and have a look at their books if you have some time.
I had a cinnamon bun and earl grey and they were so good!
Lovely café ! Great options for breakfast/lunch! Try shrimp sandwich :) Staff is very friendly ! ????
Best coffee in Marylebone. Their cinnamon buns are even better than Nordic Bakery 's round the corner.
Cinnamon buns omg ???? Really small place so best to get coffee to go but everything is super delicious and they’re so friendly ????
Trendy place , and they sell Lanka cakes ! However coffee is just so-so. Great seating indoor with comfy cushion and great music is played from their radio station
Amazing place... Great coffe and the whole project is just stunning. Could stay there the whole day.
Try the Scandinavian breakfast for a healthy start to your day however be prepared to wait to find a seat if your in a large group.
I had a really good macchiato here. The back room is a really comfortable place to sit for a bit.
Cardamom pastry is the highlight
really cute Japanese inspired cafe with a very laid-back environment. The greentea macarons and the greentea cheesecake is delicious aswell
Central location, great coffee and food, in a very quiet street. Plus, of course, the newest issues of Monocle.
Very well done. Avo on vegan toast and decent soya flat white . Latest Monocle issue + hot drink for £6 which is amazing ????
cute cafe , tasty cinnamon buns and muesli !
Lovely for quick lunches . Few options, but boy, are they delicious. And healthy. (They do takeaway , too!)
Lil japanese cafe . They sell lanka cakes which have always been one of my fav cake shops
The staff was very friendly ????and the coffee was delicious ????☕️
Also responsible for the homonymous magazine. It does not disappoint, the coffee is good, the setting too ;) ☕️ ☕️
Cappuccino is good along with the cinnamon bun . Avoid at weekends if you want to relax and ready your book , cozy hip atmosphere
If you love your coffee come here. Really nice well bodied coffee akd good service . Defo a repeat visit when I am next in the area.
I liked the shop inside tge cafe ???????? latte is so good
Obviously, a must for Monocle fans. Good coffee and quiet space to enjoy the latest issue or your favorite travel guide.
