The fusilli with grilled octopus and bone marrow could be the best pasta dish I've ever had. This place is incredible. And if you can't get a table, the bar menu is solid and offers pasta dishes.
We enjoyed a most delicious evening at Marea. The food was amazing as well as the service. The place was jamming and the mood festive . We highly recommend. Try Bronzino for two.
Amazing Italian seafood spot on the Southern end of Central Park . Amazing lunch prix fixe - the grilled octopus is a must! Marscapone panna cotta is also a unique treat.
Best pasta in NYC. Expensive but has a 2 course lunch option for $45. Grilled octopus and lobster for appetizers are fantastic. For pasta , fusilli with bone marrow and octopus is a must.
The perfectly rolled fusilli at Marea is populated with a generous serving of braised octopus and rich bone marrow . I enjoy this dish with a nicely chilled glass of Chablis–it's the perfect pairing. Read more

Order the now-famous fusilli with octopus & bone marrow or the spaghetti with sea urchin and crab . For those that don't like fish , the aged sirloin steak with bone marrow panzanella. [Eater 38 Member]
Ordered both the truffle garganellj and the (famous) fusilli , both delicious, service was very attentive. Oh and there’s a guy walking around serving bread ... focaccia is all you need

The lobster burrata is one of my favourite appetizers ever - a perfect dish. Their famous fusilli with bone marrow and octopus is not overhyped either - it's definitely a must order!
Get the ricci and astice to start (uni and lobster w/ burrata ). The strozzapreti and the fusilli were both amazing pastas !

Must try the crab and uni pasta . Also loved the grilled octopus and mozzarella en carrozza . Overall amazing dining experience.
Excellent sea food and classic Italian. Veal cooked to perfection. Desserts were light and delicious. Luxe setting and decor. Visit for a special occasion .
It was the best decision to mix seafood and Italian when we ordered the Fusilli . The homemade pasta cooked al dente is perfectly accompanied by a rich bone marrow and braised octopus cooked tender.
Delicious perfect food. The Bronzino was perfect and the new lobster asparagus risotto was a winner. Try and enjoy
Don't skip dessert . The budino al limone was as good as the pasta . (Plus it really looks like pasta !)
Marea highlights the best in seafood and Italian cuisine . The famed pastas , such as the Fusili with Octopus and Bone Marrow , and Garganelli with Crab , never disappoint.
Get the polipo (braised octopus ). That’s all you need to know. Probably the best octopus I have ever had!
The house-made fusilli with bone marrow and baby octopus tentacles in an unctuous tomato ragout was a rich, rib-sticking contender. Sedanini swimming in a smoky cod-chowder sauce was another. -TimeOut
This is my favorite spot for a romantic dinner with my husband. Delicious seafood , fresh pasta and excellent wine list -- everything is perfect.
They are wheelchair accessible and very kind towards my family, which is a huge plus. The food, though pricey , is excellent and was a great venue for my Dad's 70th bday. He ate everything. :-)
As has been mentioned, famous for the fusilli with octopus and bone marrow . Incredibly delicious.
The fusilli with octopus was amazing. And they also have one of the best Bloody Mary's I've had in the city . I wasn't crazy about the primi piati choices, but eh.
Great place for drinks after MET Opera. Huge bar table, delicious food and great wine card
Freshest seafood in the city ! We had the crab and sea urchin pasta , the shrimp pancetta ravioli , and the branzino . Would recommend all three. Very expensive but worth the splurge ;)
The handmade pastas are their specialty - we tried the sea urchin one, the octopus bone marrow one, and the duck ragu and all of them were delicious. The service was also wonderful!

Sugarbush is a fantastic mix of bourbon and maple syrup . Combine with some foie gras and Hawaiian swordfish and leave happy, or have the lobster ravioli and leave euphoric.
Try the crudos ! Had tuna , cuddlefish and branzino...excellent. The octopus fusilli was highly recommended and definitely met up to the hype. Great resto!
Great for a special occasion - amazing food and service and atmosphere that's not too stuffy. The astice and octopus appetizers were standouts.

The Fusilli pasta dish lives up to the hype. In general it is hard to go wrong when you add fat to an already good tomato sauce to put it over the top.
Lobster burrata was decadent, fusilli with octopus and bone marrow lived up to the hype as well
Sea bass with clams and pine nuts . Unusual. Excellent and bursting with flavor. Wonderfully done.
On any given visit, you’ll see famous faces (as well as “upper-generation” folks) at Michael White’s restaurant . Order fusilli with red wine-braised octopus and bone marrow .
Red snapper was so fresh and prepared with such flavor. So different from Eric Ripert but so excellent.
