Amoeba Berkeley

A must if you're in the East Bay . The one on Haight & Ashbury in San Francisco is my favorite, but Berkeley's Amoeba store is really great also.

What's good? Precisely everything. The best record store in the East Bay .

Cool to see Asian cinema section but for it to be lumped with Martial Arts in the title felt weird. Anyway, nice to browse

Nothing will ever beat Amoeba Hollywood, but this place is an acceptable substitute. Not nearly as big, but be patient in looking through the racks; there are hidden gems everywhere.

Music outlet boasting huge variety of LPs and DVDs. If you're interested, bring your old and used discs to trade or sell.

Holy cow, the out-of-print and Criterion dvd selection is mind-boggling. Go, get your mind boggled today.

They've got a surprising amount of anime . Check the bottom shelf under the cult animation section.

If what you're looking for doesn't have its own section, check the mixed misc. section for that letter. There's a lot of stuff in there.
