I got greeted by friendly people and a cute squirrel monkey . Beautiful grounds and just off A1A near the beach . A must visit if you like plantation architecture and eclectic , avant garde decor.
Guided tours of the main house run about every hour or so and take visitors through the dining room, music room, drawing room and art studio , which displays Bartlett's watercolor and oil paintings . Read more
The Bonnet House Museum & Gardens is an unforgettable experience. The Bonnet House has a collection of unique animals including Amazon parrots, mute swans , manatees and Costa Rican squirrel monkeys .
The staff was friendly and the house is so charming, inspiring, whimsical. Normally I hate tours , but theirs was intelligent and entertaining. If I lived nearby I would go to all their events .
This Bonnet House is rich in history and art . Great tour for $20. You can roam around the grounds as long as you want and enjoy.
The trail riding so close to the intercostal offers a unique feeling of exclusivity.
The last 35 acres left from Broward to Miami that have been untouched by building malls . A must see especially if your a Floridian and have never been but always meant to go. So Beautiful.

Gem of a place right in FLL between the intracoastal and the beach. Nice trails to walk or ride your bike. And who can believe $4 to park your car all day....unheard of at the beach - Debra Angelo
