I love the Shio ramen and I added corn . The meat was so tender! Only half orders and few choices of ramen at dinner . Miso butter anything is delicious! Japanese pancake is also good.
Sashimi and curry gesu are to die for! Fish is super high quality, among the best I've found in Seattle, and spice of curry gesu has the perfect amount of kick
Decently priced Japanese food if looking for something other than sushi in the area. They have lots of skewers that were pretty tasty. I had the buta-don which was delicious. I'll be back for ramen !
AMAZING FOOD! I go for the ramen but the menu is diverse. They have a wheat free noodle option as well as a vegetarian broth . The only downside is that the restaurant is very loud .
The fried chicken appetizer is amaxing. Tried some of their original ramens , they were good but thinking I may stick to the classic next time. Great beer & sake selection .
Great selection of Japanese whiskey . The okonomiyaki is a tasty starter to split between a couple of people
Ramen is recommended, but full bowls are available lunch-only. (There are half-bowls for dinner .) As this is a Hokkaido-influenced restaurant , try the miso ramen .
Amazing Japanese whiskey selection . Also killer happy hour with a bunch of apps for $5. For dinner , I love their cold ramen options for summer.
Yakisoba is addictive, miso butter sauce on the salmon is delicious, and if wagyu beef skewers are on the specials list, GET THEM. Lovely Saturday night and plenty of tables are open!
Everything was delicious! Tempura scallops , ramen salad , kabobs , salmon ! YUM! Great environment and friendly staff . Highly recommend!
I had Sapporo miso ramen , which has extra butter in the broth. Delicious, but even heavier than bone marrow broth already is.
Excellent ramen but the okonomiyaki is the real star. Just reopened!
Okonomiyaki is great! Interesting Hokkaido specialities. Nice modern decor .
Come to the happy hour 5-7 Tuesday - Saturday! The food is amazing and the Japanese tapas are only $3!
Definitely try the grilled rice skewer . Matcha cheesecake was good too. Decent vegetarian options .
Really authentic Hokkaido style ramen . Cool special menu
Flavorful vegan ramen miso and shoyu options
Good ramen , but only half orders are available for dinner . Try the Japanese pancake !
Miso Ramen is highly recommended!
Fan of the spicy miso ramen and Otokayama (sake )
Next door after business hours Chase Bank call-to-park parking $5 ;)
The Chan-Chan-Yaki (sockeye salmon version) is great.
Actually quite passable yakitori and okonomiyaki . So cool!
Highly recommend their Zangi, very soft n juicy!
Try the pickled ginger tempura ! So refreshing!
The Modern Yaki is amazing!
Japanese izakaya , ramen , and okonomiyaki , :)
Love the vegetarian ramen
As of mid 2017, this place is too good for this neighborhood
Chan chan donburi was really good!
Best ramen ever
I would love to tell people how awesome your food is but after 20 min & only getting a glass of water my party had to leave. I hope 1 day to come back & have someone take my order
As of Feb 2022, only 300 servings per day. Amazing soft serve made from Hokaido Dairy. - Alice C
Fresh and generous portion of poke - slightly different preparation, with sauce on the side. Kara-age was also delicious, lightly breaded. Going back for Chirashi soon! - Drew Milam
Fantastic noodles and snacks. Great sake selection with the sister restaurant a couple doors down. - Mirek Nowak
Man. They have some of the best food around! Happy hour 3-6. Try the volcano roll and caterpillar roll. They also have good daily specials. - Mary S
Try the Stratiatella and Avocado gelato - Mmm avocado, good fats in a dessert! - Emily Tse
Salted caramel is amazing! And if you're getting just one scoop, do know that you can split it between two different flavors. - Matthew Rayermann
Fantastic little bar, get the nachos on happy hour. Friendly service too. - Micah Spieler
