Walk to the waterfall is easy and beautiful!
Only about 9 easy miles around the lake , on a nice day, I'd recommend to anyone. Don't forget the waterfall !
Pay the extra fee for a water front camp site.
No dogs in the lake is a condition of the CA exemption from "no body contact" in drinking water lakes . No body contact includes no wading, swimming , or boating of any kind for people.
The lake always makes my drive more beautiful. Tons of hiking trails too.
