The entire menu is just awesome but this THE place to go in Phoenix for fresh, quality sushi . Staff is friendly and the chefs are creative with the specials.
The quality of the fish here is amazing. Definitely a treat to sit at the bar and watch them work their magic. Take a chance and ask for some off-menu recommendations, too.
Try the Sukuei Tofu - Rich, silky umami flavor. Umami heaven. Just enough salt to accent the umami, then goes away. How do you cook asparagus so that it melts in your mouth?
Pay close attention to the board that lists daily specials and be sure to ask for translations and recommendations because this is where things get really interesting. Read more
