Baan Somtum

Everything on the menu is delicious. The crowd is predominantly Thai, the food is excellent and well priced. One or two of the wait staff speak English too. Be prepare to wait 15 mins for a table.

The best somtum I've had in Bangkok. The corn somtum is really delicious! Everything we tried was great here.

Delicious issan restaurant , lovely setting, great service, everything between 60-100bht Yam Ma-muang and moo yang stand outs, can't wait to go back

Regular Thai-Issan restaurant where I always think of. Love the taste here especially Fried Chicken & Coconut Ice cream . Due to weekday traffic, it is difficult to access during 6pm.

This is my favourite restaurant in bangkok, the papaya salad , fried chicken , pork neck and tomyam are excellent! And please end your meal with the best coconut ice cream in town !

One of the best somtum in Bangkok so far. I love tum luang prabang here. Longan juice is a nice pair with spicy somtum.

20 variations of Som Tum - if you say you like it hot/spicy it may be the hottest thing you will ever eat. Genuine Thai experience - they make it while you watch. Awesome and cheap

If you have a European palate this place serves tasty food that will make your eyes water and nose run. Coconut icecream is the answer.

There's lots of sumtum places, but feel like they went out of their way to make it memorable. Good food presentation and lots of yummy dishes to cover your table with.

Wow... Hands down somtum! Everything was so good and really right on spicy . Don't forget to try the zalacca dessert to cool down.

Lots of goodies. Tom zab is the best here. A bit spicy for those who can't eat spicy food .

The tips are right: the som tum is spicy , in a good way. Kitchen closes 30 minutes before the doors close.

Place looks good at first, but long time to wait and nothing exceptional in food. Prices are ok, e.g. 100 THB for soups . Locals seam to like it.

Very spicy food . Som Tim was great. We tried the young coconut with shrimp .

Decent Papaya salad - not Bangkok’s best though.

A bit disappointed. Food takes too long to be served. If you arrive during peak hours, long que. The que won't be too long if the food has been served faster. Steamed fish is good. Somtam menus r sad

More expensive as it is next to an upscale backpackers, but the food was authentic and tasty.

Tasty, but the small portions are pricey for Thai conditions. They were out of cold beer at 8pm...
