Awesome quality and good value . I had 3 pieces for $5. And they are so delicious. I'd be back every week if they were not that far.
Delicious mochi ! Try to get there before noon or else they'll run out! Butter mochi is only available Fri-Sun. Big fan of green tea , peanut butter , and chichi dango !
Awesome shop with a wide assortment of flavors. Come early since they usually sell out by the afternoon.
It’s all about the manju! Kinako is the bomb
Not much has changed in the 40 plus years I've been coming here. Cash only so be prepared. So yummy. Makes my tummy smile.
My favorite shaved ice place. Milk flavor with ice cream . ???? Only available during summer though
Go early if you want the flavored mochi . They run out quickly. Or you can call them in advance to find out what flavora they have.
Come get some of the best Hawaiian Shaved Ice east of the big island . Windows open Saturdays: 11-5:30 pm and Sundays: 11-3:30
One of best homemade manjus ever -- get here early to get the ones you like and cash only !!!
The pink white is my favorite. They are all tasty though.
try the monakas (wafer cookies with red bean filling). very yummy!
Chichidango FTW! Thursdays and Fridays only though :P
Manju, obviously!!!!!
I especially like monaka and brown onara.
A Japantown institution
Come early in the morning to get the best pickings of flavored mochi .
Daifuku, manju
Shave ice is back! Sat 11-4 Sun 11-3:30 (5/2012)
So so not much variety to choose from
The grill here is awesome. It's fueled by wood charcoal and adds amazing flavor to anything cooked on it. It also helps that they cook everything perfectly! Korean BBQ and Pork belly are the best :-) - Tom McGhan
Great Japanese comfort food. I love the counter. Don't forget the specials in Whiteboard. - Rei Alexandra Aoyama
Special chirashi bowl is a good thing to get if you're willing to spend the money ($15). If not, the katsu don is really good too! The 'super bomb roll' is a really good spicy tuna roll. Gotta try! - Adrian Chen
They have a fantastic selection of sake and Japanese candy. - Laura Wilson
Really awesome place. Nice people and good food and drink. Really enjoyed the iced Oregon chi tea! Only thing I wish is that they had a choice of sizes because I would have gotten a bigger one :) - Dale Swanson
Best shave ice in Japantown. Great dessert and meal crepes, along with expresso/coffee. Cash only. - Ron T
