Fried green tomato salad , and the mahi po' boy are a must try. Come early and have a bite before catching a movie at the Burns Court Cinema next door! Such a cool part of the city !
Excellent food and service in a great atmosphere! Live music in an awesome courtyard while you wait for your table. Reservations for groups of 6
Awesome Experience -Must go out back .Surprising atmosphere.. Food was great..fish tacos and Boil pot for 2 .would share food the next time portions are generous A must go when in Sarasota Call ahead
If you get there when it opens at 4 pm and you see a long line , don't worry too much as the line moves fast and they have more seating than you think. You can always hang out in the backyard .
Went here for my birthday and almost left bc the wait was so long but discovered a secret garden in the back with apps and live music ! So cool!
Didn't love the 90-minute wait for a table - but what a scene! Missed a few places on my 1st time to Sarasota but glad I got here, so unique. And the service was great, along with the food & beers
Everything is good here. Fresh seafood . Wonderful upscale but casual Florida ambiance. Hands down a winner for any dinner occasion- thought I wish they were open for lunch/brunch!!!
Had the oysters Rockefeller and snapper for dinner . Awesome ! The sides are great too and very large. The do not take reservations but do accept call aheads.
Oysters , scallops with braised pork , clam chowder , crab cake , fried blackberry pie , pecan pie , apple pie .... All yummy! Try the daily specials too!
Awesome, funky place. Had oysters and beer in the garden with live music . Had Wahoo with best collard greens ever. Will be back when in town !
It is going to be a wait. Calling ahead was still over 30 minutes. Scallops with BBQ pork is terrific as is the fried catfish with some of the best and creamiest grits . And make room for the desserts
Shrimp , sausage and grits . Catfish , collards and soft shelled crabs . All were wonderful.
I love the ambiance. I got the fish and chips and it was so crispy in the outside yet so moist in the inside. Next time I have to try the fried blueberry pie !
I know it's a seafood place but the fried chicken is outstanding, bacon people, BACON . Bourbon Pecan Pie ! Oysters ! Service can be good or bad but not enough to stop me from going another 20+ times
Built in an old house and off the beaten track ... everything we've ever had is excellent... owned by the same family that owns Carigulo's... you just can't go wrong!
The oysters are heavenly delicious, the clam chowder is good, the atmosphere is authentic and personnel are friendly .
Lives up to the hype. All the food was great but the chicken fried lobster was at a whole other level
Perfect burger , great beer selection and fantastic service! ????
Pro tip: In the mood for liquor ? You’re out of luck. This place, while visually appealing with decent food, serves only beer and wine .
the fish tacos are delicious , Cassandra is the bartender on weekends .. She runs the place like she owns it! Expect a long wait though for seating ...
Impossibly cute setting right in the historic district, and the food does it justice. Try the naked fish of the day. Beer and wine only.
Get there early, grab a table outside and order through the bar . Enjoy the evening and the entertainment.
Pecan pie does not get as much love as some other desert options but it is really well done.
Don't go and not expect to wait. Hangout in the backyard and drink a few... mussels , collared greens, grits and whatever special is going on. Freaking phenomenal!
Really lovely atmosphere out back. Food is OK, but not mind blowing. Somewhat overpriced but the ambiance makes up for it for the most part. Fried chicken lobster tails were good!
The courtyard in the back is great for waiting. Live music , beer , and grilled snacks
One of my favorite restaurants in town , great food and you can't forget to get a classic coca cola in a glass bottle !
Food is consistent, usually the service is as well . We've been there a lot, rare occasions of shoddy service, not enough to stop going. Hang out back before you eat.
Spectacular...Great restaurants need 3 things...Great location, food and staff . This hits it out of the park A+
This place is like having a family picnic where you don't have to be responsible for everything. It's so casual and comfortable:-)
Had the scallops with BBQ brisket over grits . Excellent
The Oyster shooters are spectacular. Especially after Chalk fest with Jami and China smith
There is a back porch which is a great place to sit and have a drink when you're waiting for your table.
Laid back atmosphere and the funky backyard . Does not have full bar , only wine and beer .
Foodie inspired Florida Fish Camp dishes served with Deep South inspired sides.
Split the lobster rolls with a friend, then double up on some sides. The black eyed peas are a great place to start.
Gumbo and red snapper . Service at the bar was excellent.
Jambalaya with angel hair pasta instead of rice !
The chicken fried lobster is the best appetizer I've ever had.
Casual and authentic . Red snapper excellent!
The food is great and the service is great. It's a can't miss place. Call ahead if you are going on a weekend, it's the hot spot in town .
As a solo traveler I was able to grab a seat at the high-top in the bar & share table with others even though place was very busy.
Catfish and fried tomatoes were awesome! Fresh and delicious.
Whatever you order you will not be disappointed however I had the shrimp and grits and couldn't put my fork down!
Check out the blackboard for the fish specials - I always get mine blackened with the cranberry succotash!
This is a must do. Old Florida feel, amazing menu. Southern style cooking.
The food is great, the atmosphere wonderful! I highly recommend dining here.
We had a party of six on a Friday night at 5:30 and got right in the food and staff were amazing
The jambalaya ... I've been craving it ever since I tried it (January '16)
Great meal, check out the backyard
Bouillabaisse is awesome. Bread pudding is great too! - Rob Watson
Really liked the lamb chops, sauce was great. Donuts were amazing and came with delicious caramel sauce and whipped cream. Moscow Mule was great too, came with candied ginger chunks. - Amber Medico

Small intimate theater. With different types of films. A real gem in downtown Sarasota. - Cal
Everything is great here! My friends and I went to check it out, now it's our go to! The staff is awesome. Jen and Nate are the best! The atmosphere is always fun. There's always a party, tasting, etc - Jennifer Taylor
