I tried their best selling lunch item , the shrimp po' boy . It was amazing! There is no skimping on this sandwich . Things are a little pricey but farm fresh and servings are generous.
I love this place. Typically I'm not a fan of brunch food . But the Brunch here is fantastic, great riffs off of Southern Classics like fried oysters Benedict! Lots of non-brunchy items too.
We got the Fried Chicken dinner with squash and smashed potatoes with gravy . Mmmm Mmmm. A friend of Debs from the Hospital recommended this as the best fried chicken in Sacramento. I have to agree.
They change the menu every day, but some items remain a staple. Try the Shrimp n Grits -- it has bacon in it, as well as a sweet and smoky BBQ sauce !
