Excellent food. Flavors were on point mild and not overpowering. The staff was courteous and we'll informed about the menu. The prices were upper middle. The owner visited our table.
Best food in Oxford. If they ever have their foraged mushroom and grits on the menu, DO NOT miss it. One of the best things I have ever eaten in my life!
Great place in surprising location if you're looking for fresh, local, wholesome food. Sadly it was empty. My guess is that most locals can't afford this kind of food.
The vegetable buffet for Sunday lunch is like eating from Mrs. Purefoy's kitchen. Great casseroles , great salad variety, and the cream corn is like desert it's so good. Yum!! $15.
Wonderful seafood and great service! I love the trout ,scallops , creamed corn , bread pudding and delicious cheese platter...to name a few. Now open for lunch !
The Thanksgiving dinner buffet was amazing variety and for a price lower than we could have cooked. We were in the middle of an overdue kitchen remodel , but next year we may CHOOSE to no cook!
It's not a Cafe as the name would suggest, it's actually pretty much the only option for fine dining around here (also not cheap like the review suggests). Excellent, been many times.
Always the best restaurant in this area. Great fresh and different fish every time we go. The marlin is a treat.
I came to get the shrimp n grits to go. This lady was so sweet! There organic juices are the best!
The Southwestern Chicken and the pecan encrusted grouper are really delicious. Food is fresh and mostly organic .
Super service! Great atmosphere! Ask for what's just come in from the farm because they're being creative with it on the menu.
Owner is also the chef and has his own farm . Try the chef 's specials because they have the freshest ingredients .
Most, if not all of the vegetables served here are grown by the owner. Exceptional wine list and attention to detail are the norm here.
I was lucky enough to be a part of a wedding rehearsal dinner here. I enjoyed everything! Mr. Garfrerick is very charming.
Their menu varies based on seasonal availability. Here's a sampl menu from a local phonebook. It shows some of their more common offerings.
They aren't open for lunch , but their sister cafe next door has the same menu. The food is great, but be warned it is all natural & organic , so don't look for southern fried something here.
The duck wrap was yummy.
The food is very good, but it is certainly NOT cheap . (Not sure whats wrong with the rating system)

The best food in town ! Portions are great. Wonderful quality.
Thought there would have been more vegetarian selections , but the one option on the menu was incredible.
Everything!
It's so fresh that the menu had today's date on it!
A n unusual place to find an up scale cage, but quite good.
An unusual place to find an up scale cafe , but quite good.

Get a double chocolaty chip and sprinkle a little cinnamon in it. - Drew Allen
What I just love, is the chicken Caesar salad! Soooo yummy! You also get half off of a bakery item, I recommend the shortbread cookie.???? - Julia Van Lake
