While the map shows walking time all the way to Turut Woods & West Marsh, most parts are off limits to the public . A walk to the Raptor Tower & back to the visitor centre takes about 45 mins
Damming of the Kranji River led to the formation of this marsh. Over time & with human attention, we now have an interesting ecosystem
The Core Conservation Area is not open to public access. Currently limited access is through guided walks by NParks and the Nature Society of Singapore.
The guided walks are free for the public to register. Video introduction at below website: http://blog.travelbuddee.com/wp/blog/singapores-newest-outdoor-nature-attraction-and-its-free/
Nature attraction is next to Kranji Reservoir . Nearby (but not walking distance) is Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserves
Public access is limited to Marsh Station, the immediate vicinity around the Raptor Tower .
Nice touch with shadow play on the glass roof, of marsh birds in flight
The long peaceful walk, the Raptor tower , the bird watching huts. Very nicely done.
Chuckled at the sight of marsh-themed benches ????
Uh note the long (> 1km) walk from the drop off point to the actual marshes.
