I came here because I was looking for the restaurant called Ramen Isshin which is located inside Kiu. Best ramen we've ever eaten. So much flavour!! Will try the actual ramen place next time on bloor!

Aburi (pressed sushi ) is great and a decent selection of sashimi . Oysters and appetizers are ok. Expect to pay around $200 for a dinner for 2, definitely on the higher end.

Albert the bartender is fantastic! Order one of his specialty drinks (best old fashioned I’ve ever had)!

The food is extremely tasty! The drinks were quite expensive , but they were decent. Overall, I left there pretty happy!

Didn't enjoy the aburi sushi - couldn't taste the fish at all, only the sauce. Nigiri sushi & sashimi are quite decent - good selection of different fish , not just the cheapest ones. Tiny portion. $$$

Their torched aburi sushi is excellent. All other dishes are fairly good, albeit overpriced.

I enjoyed the ramen & takoyaki . The service is also quite good.

Disappointing chirashi don. Only three kinds of fish and they were chopped into tiny cubes (more like a poke bowl ); it looked really cheap . I suspect the fish was just leftover odds and ends.

Red miso ramen is a must try!

$1 oysters on monday! max 1 dozen per customer though
