County of Los Angeles Public Library - West Hollywood

Awesome library ! I was greeted by staff as soon as I arrived. Maria and crew were very helpful. It was nice, clean , and bright . Great services everything you would want from a library !

Gotta love a library that doesn't just carry John Waters' films , but also displays them proudly.

This is part of County system so you can return books at many other different county libraries ! :-)

The library can only validate the Library lot and not the 5 story structure . The 1st hour in the 5 story structure is free and an extra hour can be validated at the Park office near the playground .

Renting their DVDs are great- free & at least over week to return. Much better & cheaper than RED BOX

Very Big. Beautiful outside. NOT pedestrian friendly . Elevators hidden away in cubby holes. Fire lanes are a joke with the no parking signs. Everyone ignores them.

In addition to the gigantic mural on the parking structure , checkout Shepard Fairey's mural in the entrance to the motor court/council chambers.

Library validates for the ground floor lot connected to the building. Three hours free.

When from out of town you can get a temp library card that gives you 2 hrs of internet access each day. One hr at a time. There is also free WiFi .

Hours of operation are from 8 a.m. to 2 a.m. daily. Did you know there are three tennis courts on top?!

A great place to stay cool, and send out resumes at the same time.

Music collection is amazing! Lots of DVDs too!
