Brilliant curries in served in bowl shaped pans (Karahis). Service is poor and slow but its more than made up for by some of the best Asian food in London. Oh and it's BYOB . Highly recommend.
It's all about the Masala fish ...buy a starter...take it home, and serve with chips for that fresh BritishAsian fusion taste. ❤
Try the kebab roll ! Absolutely amazing! Put a 3:1 ratio of chilli sauce to mint sauce . Best thing you're going to have!
really good food, some say better than Tayyabs. Definitely order the lamb chops masala or any lamb chops there for that matter!
The Keema Naan is delicious, can be eaten on its own but great with veg curries .. Tricks the mind as usually it's the meat that's inside...
Food was amazing, very good prices and decent portions too. The lamb biryani and mango lassi delicious!
The naan and lamb curries are amazing
Chicken tikka massala , methi gosht , the naans
Get the kebab roll for £2.50 - fresh naan , salad and 2 x freshly cooked lamb shish
Simply the best. Keema mutter is great here, that and a plain naan would be my last meal on death row
Good and awesome waiters
A Tooting institution. Go for the chicken karahi - sublime.
Amazing mixed grill. Chili naan also very delicious.
Delicious Chicken Tikka Karahi.
Average, traditional place with typical reheated food and a few freshly cooked items. Vegetarian options .
The mehti gosht is stunning and goes well with a garlic naan .
there are places you're best to avoid. This one is definitely an abomination of Pakistani cuisine. Given its huge popularity they serve seriously ordinary food. Keep moving, don't stop here.
It’s average for the area but that’s not bad - the standard in this area is high! Tried katlama - like a stuffed paratha but not flakey. A bit greasy...
Try chicken korma . I haven't found anything like it. Simply the best!
Ask for the Chana Beigan.. Not on the menu , but a stunning vegetarian dish !
Everything is good
Curt service, good food. Definitely not "the best in London"
Chicken tikka
Amazing food. Little expensive . But very authentic .
Not THE best in London or even tooting. Great exp though and my fav is the chicken Malaya .
The Peshwari Nan and Lamb Rogan Josh were delicious!
Great Keebab roll
The chicken tikka masala karahi tasted like cheese . Odd. Ok overall, not the best in London.
Best curry in London . Go for the chicken or prawn Karahi
Methi Gosht . Chilli naan .
Very nice curry , kebab roll delicious as well !
The methi gosht is gorgeous as are the naans
Amazing food, not so good service .
One of the best curry houses in London - we come here all the time
Best curry in London in my opinion.
Customers walking out because they haven't been served... Same emphasis on customer service then. Shame as good value food.
Great curry
Not the best place in tooting but you won't be disappointed
So hyped up, really slow service, greasy food which didn’t have much flavour and was spen for what it was
Excellent curry
Nothing. Disgusting bland food. No self appreciating Asian would be seen in this restaurant .
The staff are arrogant but dnt let that ruin the food...
Most disappointing meal I have had in London. Standard Indian at best. Poor service. Would not recommend.
Bad service and food average
Try the Mirch fish starter, tasty, and different to the usual samosas etc. - Simon Clark
They have very good food. The best is Lamb Tikka Biryani and Lassi. - Muhammad Wahab
They're generally amazing with mutton… make sure you try the Sri Lankan tea too! - Ollie Bredemeyer
Great pub. Variety and good food but most of all it has the best garden I've seen in our neighbourhood - Lef Germenlis
A place to buy fresh cod, and cheese made with vegetarian rennet... - Adnan Ashraf
Good selection of real ale - great Sunday roasts - huge screen in the back room perfect for watching sport.....worth getting there early for big games as it gets really busy! - Emily-jane
