$6.95 for a bowl of ramen and only $0.99 for an extra serving of noodles . The only downside is you start to run out of soup fast each time you get more noodles . Regardless, the ramen here is amazing.
It’s a very customizable tonkatsu ramen . You can adjust the noodles , soup concentration and the add ins. The also serve sushi and rice bowls . The lunch specials are great. Dinner , there are lines .
I love the hakata-style ramen , which uses very thin cut noodles . Here, it’s all about customization. There’s a lot to decide. Hakata is always pretty busy, and it's easy to see why Read more
Why is the wait always the longest at this Shin-Sen-Gumi Hakata outpost? I don't know, but it's still my favorite. Friendly service , delicious broth, and the ability to customize your ramen easily.
Fatass mixture: pork ramen , extra thick noodle , extra oily and flavorful base, spicy miso , kimchee , fish cod , and char su! Yummm....just do it!
Tonkotsu ramen . Heavenly broth and great toppings. Get spicy miso toppings to add to your soup for a nice kick. Come for lunch and get the lunch combinations
Hakata Shin-Sen-Gumi always has some fun contests for their patrons. They once had a ramen-eating contest where the winner won a free trip to Japan! Read more
My favorite ramen place , it's hakata style ramen , so it's little different soup and noodle , the only complaint is they don't have favored 6 min egg
Get the chashu tacos ! Created by the manager, they are a unique item to this store. If it's lunch time order the T-set for tacos and ramen at a discount .
Get the extremes: hard noodles , thick oil, thick base. Don't forget the spicy miso either - it may look like a little but it can cover 3-4 people. Knock yourself out!
I recommend getting a soft-boiled flavored egg with your ramen . The chashu tacos are good too!
Lunch sets are worth the price. Opens at 11am, but crowds start ahead of that time.
Best ramen noodles I've ever had! Never disappoints. Prepare for a wait. Boisterous, welcoming environment.
Ramen is delicious, tea is great, rice bowls are pretty nice too! The cheese egg rolls are bomb!
The half size ramen bowl is seriously perfect if you eat light!
Noodles are amazing. Very filling and probably one of the best noodle places in Los Angeles.
Hakata Ramen , firm noodle , regular oil, flavored egg , extra noodle . Spicy Miso on side.
When you are done with the noodles in your ramen , you can order extra noodles for $1 and they'll add them to your soup broth. The hot noodles will reheat the broth.
Either be the first one there or last one. There will always be a wait. But it's worth it and make sure to bundle up in the winter, the wait line is outside.
Considered the best ramen locally. Come here early if you don't want to wait.
Half size ramen is a decent portion that will fill you up if you aren't starving.
Seaweed salad , tofu , soft shell crab and of course their ramen .
The Hakata ramen and the Gyoza are incredibly good!
Had the special T with two Chashu tacos on the side. So GOOD.
Come early to avoid the loooong wait! Also, don't forget to order the spicy miso--it makes all the difference!
Try the Stamina Set - Additional toppings for your ramen ! Garlic chips , poached egg and kim Cher.
great ramen customized iust the way you want it
The ramen is awesome, and the service is great!!!
Always packed!! Closes in 30mins & ppl are still arriving! But the ramen is the BEST!!!
Crispy bacon and the garlic butter bomb. Bombay.com. sooo good
Ask for the green chill bomb, aka GCB!!
And if you girls have bags the bag has bag hooks!
Pork belly and kimchee ! No sharing allowed!
If you like spicy . Get the spicy miso add on
Come alone and just sit at the counter to avoid the wait.
Hard noodles . Strong soup base. Medium oil. Spicy miso and corn ;]
Best broth I've ever tasted
Not worth the 30+ mins wait. Soup was warm, and the raw squid was fishy tasting. Not to mention they wanted you to order toppings piece by piece while it comes standard from other Ramen shop.
The service here is awesome!
There is usually a wait around dinner time. Have a person in your party leave their name while you park .
always get gyozas .
the onion pancake is not what you would expect. it's cut up into 5 small squares, soft, and drizzled with thousand island dressing
You can customize your noodle , soup base, and oil!
Probably not the best place to eat if you're in a hurry.
The waitress are very cordial and announces everything. Even Zatoichi will know what is going on all the time.
Try the kirin draft beer
love this place
On our trip home from Disneyland, we wanted to try this place. Ramen was alright, nothing to write home about. Did not like their noodles . Gyoza is small.
Try the 6 Piece Gyoza
Try the Hakata Ramen
