Markthalle Neun's objective is to demonstrate that alternative eating and shopping is possible in an urban space. Once dominated by discount shops, the historical market hall has been gradually resettled by the kind of small stands it was originally built to house.

One of my favourite spots in Berlin. The street food market on Thursday evenings are fantastic, but get there early if you're with a group of friends as you'll have a better chance of getting a table
Believe the hype. This place has it all for any budding foodie and craft produce fan. Amazing selection of food, drink and sweet both international and local. Atmosphere is great and excellent value
Very crowded , but worth it. Get a vegan Zwei Dicke Bären ice cream sandwich , vegan Brazilian tapioca bun w/ soy mince , vegetarian Taiwanese tofu bao (vegan w/o sriracha mayo ) or a vegan burger
Street food Thursdays are a must do in Berlin! Always crowded and can be hard to get a seat, but so so worth it. I love trying all the amazing food from different corners of the world.
Oysters ! Cheese ! Champagne ! Japanese bakery ! Craft Beer ! Also: smoked Feta Cheese and lots of German specialties. Best time to visit: Saturday around 4-5pm = the crowd is out, the food is still in.
There's a street food market every thursday! It's too crowded and impossible to find a place to sit but still the food is amazing and prices are ok. I love it!
Thursday night street food festival is great because it’s cheap and so easy. Come late (8.30/9) to avoid the biggest crowds and get seating more easily. Lines are long but food is so worth it.
Definitely worth to pay a visit, even if it's heavily crowded . Every third Sunday of the month, the market holds a multiethnic breakfast market . We Had some Mexican streed food and it was lovely!
This indoor market is BUZZING ???? when it’s open! Crammed full of yummy food stalls and wine shops . Definitely worth a visit on a Sunday.
Street food festival every Thursday from 18:00! 6 Giant wild oysters only for 12,5€! In general very cheap , amazing and very unusual food for every taste!
Street Food Thursday : a reason to be alive. I cannot describe the joy of tasting world street food in a cosy happy atmosphere. This is a MUST.
Every Thursday evening is now Street Food Market . Similar to mercados in spain or Street Food Markets in London just with the typical Berlin improvised shabby chic . Lots of great food and good wines .
Nice no-nonsense place to hang out en enjoy "street food & drinks" Perfect team of cooperative food lovers underneath one roof.
Great little market to hang out at. Even better than the produce is the variety at the tiny food court : Pulled Pork Sandwich , smoked potatoes , ceviche , Smoked fish and some awesome craft beer .
Bone Kitchen serves great Schnitzel !
AMAZING day out such good food on street food Thursday .... My fave was Korean tofu buns
Great atmosphere, nice interior and good food&drinks! I’ve tried food from Bone Berlin and Tofu Tussis and I can definitely say that I will come back for more.
Lively food court with all types of different foods. We started with a plate of tasty pulled pork . After that we had some amazingly delicious wild oysters at the fish stand. Nice place to visit!
Awesome market hall where on Thursday creative chefs serve up their take on street food . Vegetarian Taiwanese Bao with chili , housing and cilantro were fabulous.
There’s a really nice book exchange unit near the entrance/exit, lots of theoretical learning books but also a lot Turkish ones and dictionaries in diverse languages.
Come for Street Food Thurdays (5 p.m.–10 p.m.), where vendors hawk everything from tacos , Korean buns to hearty German Knödel, and fine coffee from Café 9, plus cameos from Röststätte and 19 Grams.
Visit on Thursday afternoons for the most amazing food market . Small stalls with all types of delicacies and a great selection of drinks! A definite must!
The Breakfast Market (3rd Sunday of every month) is great! Lots of great foods, a fun crowd and not over the top expensive . Be sure to check out Heiden Peters (microbrew ) nestled in the back!
Try the Sun Day Burgers and wash down with seasonal fresh juices - best vegetarian burger I have the pleasure to gobble

Great fresh bread and focaccia all week long! On weekends (Thu — Sat) there's a big market . I like the Japanese place with Onigirazu. The Italian pasta place and a nearby cake place are overrated.
Perfect place to have a quick bite or a coffee , especially if you’re working around and looking for lunch . It can be crowded in rush hours but queues are moving fast.
Hidden away from the main road , in a cosy neighbourhood. 6 min walk from U-Görlitzer Bahnhof. Not all vendors are open everyday, some open at different times. Check online for individual availability.
Tres cool foodie spot with 3 or 4 joints to satisfy your hunger. H I G H L Y recommend Big Stuff Smoked BBQ - the short rib sandwich laced with the spicy steak sauce was fantastic
Came on a Thursday to enjoy the street-food extravaganza. This place is not to be missed ; a bustling place with great atmosphere, food and drinks.
The best indoor street food market in Berlin. Busy on Thursday evenings; more relaxed on Sunday before 11pm

Part of the renaissance of food courts , gourmet style, in Europe. Excellent choice of international (street) food. Can get quite busy so grab a table early!
Went there for the breakfast market . The location is spacious and in the heart of Kreuzberg, beautiful breakfast selection . The coffee place right outside serves great quality coffee !
Diverse and popular market with lots of different food offerings. BBQ , burgers , pasta and a plethora of cheese stands. One of our favourite places to go in Berlin.
Thursday evening food stalls had incredible variety and most stalls had vegan options . I got vegan dumplings and a tofu burger . Great vibe!
Great selection of food and I was never disappointed from anything that I tried there. The only issue is that the market is super busy and you need to queue for the stalls.
Heiden Peters beer Thirsty Lady is one of the best local brews in Berlin. Also, if you're here for the breakfast market (third Sunday of every month) get a Spluffin - they're magical.
Good place to go with friends and try / share different dishes as they are quite small. Always crowded .
Really nice food hall. A lots of different restaurants , cheese shops and everything. Come here when you are hungry.
Eat&drink around! ???? Cool place to chat with friends over snack . Beer on tap for 4 EUR. Food from all over the world.

The market itself is open every Friday and Saturday. But even if you shouldn’t be there on one of these market days, Kantine Neun, is open daily. Every Thursday night, ‘Street Food Thursday ’
