There are plenty of spots to swim besides the designated/ crowded swimming hole, if you're not afraid of going off the trails a bit (or of pesky park rangers)
Park at either the upper or lower entrance and hike to see Lucifer Falls . It's a shorter hike from the top, but you can swim if you park at the bottom!
Camping here is nice, but be sure you know which campsites are best- for people tenting it, I recommend sites 48 and 50 (secluded). Also, the bathrooms are really clean but the showers are ice cold!
Wear your swimsuit and explore the creek as often as you can. There are some amazing natural swimming pools here that cannot be seen from the trail .
Clean facilities for campers, great waterfall trail , close to buttermilk falls
The Lower Falls Swimming Area is great but cold. Don't forget to check out Lucifer Falls , and the Glen.
The gorge trail is a must. You will be rewarded for your hard work when you get to lucifer falls .
Take the Gorge Trail and then the Rim trail back you won't be disappointed!
The water is cold, but take a risk and jump in. It feels refreshing on a hot day!

Sit back relax and do nothing kind of park , but look out for kids!
