Ok, of the three: prime rib kimchi dumpling 1, black cod 2, butterfish 3. All great but I want more of #1. Gotta have the shochu ! If in chicago go to roka akor on north clark! Best sushi in Chicago!

Nice ambience and setting! Sat by the bar and Victoria chose most of my diner of the night! Wild mushroom hot pot in unexpected presentation! Butter cod is perfection

Have the omakase chef 's tasting menu , it takes 3 hours to eat at 22 items. Have the chef deep fry the fish skeleton that garnishes your sashimi garden , it's an experience you must have!!!

Love this place for its summer bar menu, great food and good deals . But what is up with.. No cell reception and the slowest wifi in any 3rd world country ! WTF!!!!! Wake up!

ORDER THE OMAKASE !! A many-course "experience". Many places do Omakase as "artsy minimalist", but Roka does a very filling & creative meal. Take a chance and live a little! Trust me, it's worth it!

Sushi for white people. Id skip the sushi omakase and go for the tasting menu for two which had great hot items like a whole crispy fried fish and chawanmushi

My top 3: Prime rib kimchi dumplings , crispy Brussel sprouts , and cremini mushrooms . Flowers, "Perennial" 2011 Pinot blend is excellent! Also loving the Aladdin sake !

Tasty food, but service is…bizarre. Components of the meal came randomly, with one diner getting his entree after everyone else was finished. Vegetable sides were delivered between entree and dessert .

Probably the best restaurant ever! If you are willing to break the bank the omakase tasting is unreal. You won't find anything you won't like.

Try the Fried Calamari - These were amazing, and a HUGE serving. My son and I shared some with the table next to us.

Try the Shishito Peppers - Love the way the bonito flakes move from the temperature of the peppers .

When the chef found out that I was sensitive to lemon , he redesigned the dish for me on the spot and it was divine!

The "Chibi burger " sliders in the lounge is hands down the best burger I've ever eaten.

If you're vegetarian , go with a suggestion from the server. Don't custom-order avocado rolls , because they'll fall apart easily.

If you don't like eating with chopsticks, don't come here. Food was fabulous.
