Ichiban Japanese Restaurant

This has been in La Canada FOREVER! Businesses around it has come and gone but Ichiban remains strong. Relaxed atmosphere , nice staff , and the combo meals are a good deal .

You cannot best the lunch and dinner special . The food is always Devine!!!

2 or 3 item combinations!!! Pretty big portions for a great price! Make sure you're at the la Canada one, not the Glendale version!

BEST FRESH SALMON EVER!! Salmon sashimi and roll is a great pick. The white roll is AMAZING as well .

They started the dynamite roll . Not on the menu , but just ask for it! Make sure it's the roll, not the appetizer .

They won't seat you unless your whole party is present. The sushi chefs are cool about making it how you like it.

Food was good. Waiter was not. Busboy better then waiter . Sushi bar chairs are high stool types and while different not good for people with short legs.

I really didn't like the sushi here at all.

Don't get a soda . Its ALWAYS flat.

Get the white roll . SO good.
