Simple and cheap meals like tempura , teriyaki , yakitori , udon , and common popular sushi
Stick with the tempura and teriyaki . The "sushi " you can get at the grocery store deli is better than the stuff here.
Don't believe the pictures: this place is cheap , in the get-what-you-pay-for sense. Sushi is weak; chicken teriyaki side is a small plate of dark meat with sauce poured over It. Think "diner ."
The food was very good and you can't beat the price.
you can get a butt load of california rolls ... if you're into that.
It's the simple items from a sushi and Japanese grill menu. You get what you pay for. Meh.
$5-$6 bento boxes ?! Cheap prices but delicious food!
Expanded since the Chronicle's last visit, this unpretentious sushi restaurant is still known for solid, reasonably priced fish and small plates. Try the toro. - SFGate
The nigiri sushi tasted great here, the hamachi Kama here was great, the nabeyaki udon was good too, nice broth. - Frank Kim
