Great tasting comfort food the devilled kidneys were smooth
Service always starts out attentive but once you've had your mains you are forgotten about! Last twice we ve waited half an hour from clearing mains away to having to ask to see dessert menu .
Lovely seating outside here. Lots of tame little garden birds flying around too.
Disappointing. Stayed at Calcott previously & assumed the inn in the same establishment would be as good. Over eager, impersonal service, felt like in a canteen not gastro pub . Food below average.
The 2-in-1 pie is scrumdelicioso! I had the snake-and-kiddley and others in our party had other flavours. All were FAB! - Colin McDermott
