This small taqueria packs a big punch! Seating is a challenge if you're going in rush hour. The food was great! I had the carnitas burrito ! Their portions are really generous. They are veggie friendly
The setup was a lot like chipotle. The carne asada was amazing, phenomenally better than chipotle on its best day. They put a strip of MontereyJack cheese in the burrito before warming there tortilla .
The tacos taste more authentic compared to most of the other taquerias in NYC (I'm from Texas so Mexican food from there is my baseline). A bit pricey for portion/quality. Hot sauce is on point.
This place is waiting for those who are visiting the museum nearby, newly opened The Met Breuer, and craving tacos and burritos . Personally feels, this DTT tastes better than other locations.
A small menu but everything on it is crafted on site from scratch and incredibly tasty. I had the carnitas tacos and they blew my mind. And the sauces! Just say yes. This place is a gem.
Really friendly staff ! It was my first time so they gave me free guacamole and told me about all of the options and combos. Food was so fresh and delicious!
Amazing chicken quesadilla , friendly staff . Best place around for a high quality, cheap and quick meal . Will look out for other locations.
I really enjoyed the soft shell tacos . The meet and beef are cooked to perfection. The green salsa is very spicy but so good!
The staff was friendly the half chicken half carnitas burrito was pretty good too. Cheap beer and "pre-meltedcheese" tortilla is a plus.
Tacos and the Platos are delicious and great to grab a quick lunch on your break. The cashier is extremely spirited!
Had both a taco and a burrito . It was really good. Nice staff , too. Will definitely come back.
Great vegan burrito ???? ???????? it was soooo good ❤️????
Chipotle-like setup. Food was SF style (not to be confused with Southern California style or authentic Mexican food ). Delicious nonetheless!!
Get the Basic Quesadilla (rice and beans) and add steak . It's like a heavenly mini grilled burrito .
Great taste, decent options will totally visit again. Carne not necessarily served warm in the tacos . Quesedillas are served hot though
Beware the habanero hot sauce . Mighty tasty, but if not properly mixed in with contents of your entree and evenly distributed, will burn your mouth.

Great chicken burrito . Coming from TX we were looking for just this kind of place. Look forward to trying the rest of the menu.
Far better than Chipotle -- do yourself a favor and head to one of Dos Toros' few NYC locations instead. If you like stuff super hot, try a tiny bit of the habanero sauce .
I'm not a soft taco person but the chicken and beef tacos here are excellent and made of very fresh ingredients . Skip the salsa though; it is very bland.
It's good, but I wouldn't call it Mexican; it's very similar to Chipotle. The redeeming quality is that their extra hot sauce IS hot, and their carnitas are good.
Amazing burritos ! Be sure you know what you're getting into if you order with hot sauce .
Fuck chipotle, this is where you get a killer burrito . Everybody at my school eats here for lunch every day.
Probably the best guac on the UES. Ditch Chipotle, this is the place!
Love the habanero hot sauce ! If you like spicy it's a must add!
This place actually beats most trendy MX restaurants on taste. The taco bowl is most satisfying.
Extremely better and fresher than chipotle. You don't walk out feeling stuffed after devouring their plate.
The 'basic' burrito comes with peppers and onions . nothing is stopping you from asking for them on the de-lux burritos , though. Value through vegetables !
What's not to like its Dos Toros! Better meats than Chipotle hands down
So good! Basic burrito and the chips with guacamole ! Can't beat the price!
Never had a quesadilla like this before, but it was pretty amazing.
Anything here is amazing. Blows Chipotle out of the water.
Loved the carnitas quesadilla . Affordable and very very good
I love burrito but this one sticks to your teeth as if it's not well cooked, if there's a way to change tht
Carne Asada Quesadilla with the mild sauce , your tummy will sincerely thank you.
Tiny place, but good burritos that taste fresh rather than fried and drenched in butter.
The food is amazing, but I think something got lost in translation when I placed my order...I ordered a quesadilla and somehow ended up with a burrito...It was a mess trying to eat it.
Like Chipolte but they have awesome habanero hot sauce
You MUST get the EXTRA hot sauce (the red stuff.) it makes the burrito .
Pretty much chipotle prices. But much better flavors! Good for a cheap lunch .
Try the Rosemary Limeade ! It's incredible if you like lemonade .
Obsessed with their carne asada quesadilla...forgo the guac and add sour cream and the green mild sauce !
Great burritos , loved their meats.
Spicy salsa is habanero , beware with how much you ask to be served, you've been was warned
Great food, great prices. Can't go wrong :)
Decent burrito that makes you feel full for a while
Get some Habanero Sauce , it was delicious.
Like a simplified, healthier Qdoba! Love it!
Very cheap and tasty, refill included (:
Hot sauce is interesting combo between RedHot and habanero . Unique, but not necessarily good.
The three guacamoles are a must! Good margaritas and great lobster tacos. - Carlotta deV
Great food and staff. Takes a while to get ur order but in the end it worth. - Rodrigo Soares
Burrito Box rules! Great food for little money. Have them deliver. - Clay Parker
Went with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. The modern art, tribal art, and antique furniture sections were particularly interesting. Don't miss the view from the newly opened rooftop!! - Harry
The first time I saw Central Park, I wasn't impressed at all. The second time, it was covered in snow and I loved it. The ice skating rink, all the squirrels, the hills and the amazing views. - Hartje Utrecht
