For far the best Mexican join in Tampa Downtown!! Everything on the menu is delicious, affordable and made fresh. Recommend 100%!!

I'm from South Texas and I'm always hesitant to have Mexican food outside of Texas. Our meal today was yummy. Order the chips and queso , carne asada tacos were also yummy.

Queso is awesome! Great place to watch the games as they have some nice screens surrounding the restaurant . Good service and food, just an overall great atmosphere, I recommend to all.

Woooow what a great Mexican restaurant :) if you're visiting for the first time ask for a Torta :) it's going to be delicious. And if you're a Mexican you must come try this place :)

Fish tacos are the best I have found in Florida. They are high enough quality to pass as real Southern California fish tacos !

Great guacamole . Tinga tacos and quesadilla were really delicious. Service was excellent.

Great option for Vegan or vegetarian dining: no lard in the refried beans , no sour cream in the guac !

Hand-made everything. Very tasty. Taco Bus around the corner was all out of the package and rather disgusting - complete with a bone/tooth-like object in my barbacoa . UC is MUCH better.

The carne asada taco is amazing! The Tinga taco not so much.

The el Rey burrito is fantastic and they do not skimp on the steak or the shrimp . Do it.

The Gordito Burritos is awesome, but the fries and beans...not so much. Also, salsa dip is not spicy , axe for spice green salsa . Ambiance is great though.

Anybody that thinks their tacos are better than taco bus is unqualified to speak on the matter. Maybe better than taco bell.

Pick up service is BAD if ordering for a large group They were late half of the food was ready and the other half wasn't. Half of the food was cold by the time we got it to the office (1 block away).

The margaritas are wine based.... But the gordito burrito was tasty.

If you like chili 's but don't want to admit it, this is your place! Over priced and flavor lacking food, over priced beer , and the best part is the margaritas made entirely with sweet syrupy mix thats
