came here since i moved to live in PJ. The dim sum taste suits me and the lady boss also very friendly . Price is as usual like else where. Low Mai Kai and char siew bao is nice.
Dim sum here is moderate but the paus here are excellent. The big pau and char siee pau are the best in PJ! You can also buy them frozen to be kept for a rainy day :)
There are 2 things you have to order whenever you're here: the Char Siew Pau (steamed pork buns ) and Loh Mai Kai (glutinous pork rice ). I rest my case.
One of the favorite dimsum restaurant I've ever been to. Reasonable price! Very packed during weekends but they have expanded to first floor too!
Ordered 1xribs,1xchicken feet,1xsiu Mai,1xprawn cheong fun,1xloh Mai gai , 1xfried prawn roll ,1xfish ball,2xchar Siew,1xraddish cake , pur-er tea for 2 pax and 1 water cost rm50 and Tapau pau (rm17.70).
Rather crowded but still able to get a seat reasonably easily. Like the siu mai and char siu pao! Fried stuffs also pretty good...
They've added a 2nd floor to accommodate more tables. Upstairs is clean , and tables are always available. Best items here (to me) are the lo mai kai and siew mai .
Good call, Phoebes. The best Carrot Cake in PJ. The rest of dim sums are reasonably fresh. Good breakfast .
Recommend to buy the pau from here because they put loads of meat & the filling is until the end. Unlike some which is full of flour & little meat.
Would be a good place if you're looking for simple dim sum dishes. Taste is average. Parking can be a bit of a nuisance in the weekend morning. Loads of other Eateries here too. Giant is just in front
I still think their dim sum is fantastic around here tho can be a tad pricey . Their siew mai and paus are real good!
Order the pork ribs . Good is an understatement of the garlicky, tender meat off the bone.
Best char siu pau I have eaten so far, siu mai pretty good too, the har kau sucks, lo mai kai is alright but not the best
The tai pao is best and always in great demand! The siew Mai oso good !
For anyone who wants an estimate of price: 6 plates of dim sum , 1 pau, 1 loh mai kai & 3 drinks came up to RM38.
Everything is bland. The char siew pao. The chicken feet . The siew mai . The fish balls . Everything.
The chee cheong fun is superb ;) and they serve nice siew mai as well !!!
The char siew pau is the best in PJ. Must not miss it.
Good as always. Good place to come if you wake up early. Dun bother if you wake up late. Food would have ran out. Service quality could use some work though.
Steamed fish ball , porridge and char siew bao ????
Crowded but average dim sum . Siu mai , pork rib n loh mai kai r ok. Asked for tau sar pau but was given kaya pau. Kaya pau was the size of a cupcake , smaller than the usual size!
Have your dim sum upstairs, environment much better with air conditioning
Every expensive dim sum even more expensive than Jin Xuan and other big restaurants .
Tua Pau, Char Siew Pau & Wu Kok are worth ordering here. The rest were just plain normal. -Penang Kia Food Critique-
Great stop for Char siu pao and some eye candy
Head up to second floor for more space
Char Siew Pao and Lor Mai Kai are osemmm
New product, red wine chicken pau, is not bad. Just need a little more juice !
Eat the Loh Mai Kai. It's awesome. Everything else is just so-so.
CharSiew Pau is the signature here but after tasting I found it's too sweet and the skin is slightly too hard.
Wow....The dim sum quite yummy , especially siu mai ....lo mai gai n dai bao also not bad....
Best dim sum , fast servive..nice coffee
Their pau is nice, a little pricey though Rm 1.80 for one
Prompt services , reasonable price, fresh taste, variety dim sum n famous in pao.
This place is too dirty to have a peaceful meal. Try Yuan Garden DimSum @SS2. :)
Don't come here after 1pm. Their staff focus on cleaning up the restaurant rather than serving customers. Limited choice also since most sold out.
They served you without marking what food you ordered and cashier came and counted the plates only without giving you the receipt. Think they overcharged me. I will not go again.
Best carrot cake in PJ.
'Gai Wo Bao ' was not that special, and taste so so only. Inside is the sticky rice . Order sticky rice rather than this.
Pork ribs ! ❤
Dim Sum quality have dropped, not as tasty as i use to eat during my early years..W.N.R!
The only thing that is good is their super expensive food. If you are looking to waste your money, this the place to go.
Standard goes down every time I come here. Disappointed. The only upside is their tea that is thick in favour.
Very good food
One plate of fried things cost rm7 kinda shocked me btw
Try it yourself to know how good it is
Red bean pau <3
Haha very nice dim sum , price was middle high but standard for KL/PJ price
Dim sum is so so and nothing to shout about. Price is expensive , it's not worth the money. Better go to big dim sum restaurant .
Best Lo Mai Kai ever.
one of the best outlets and good food, except the siu long bao took extremely long. - Darien Tan
Their scallop shrimp dumpling must-try. Good - Shaun Jensen Tan
Great dim sum. Try the porridge - superbly smooth n tasty! - Wen Chan
