The Merkts Cheddar Burger is so good. If you're in the area and have some time to kill, this is a must. There will most likely be a line out the door, but you will be rewarded with burger bliss.

Known for their Bacon Merkts Cheddar Burger , fresh ingredients & toppings. Expect a line , service is 1st rate as the owners still work the counter after 35 yrs! Highlight for me was choc banana shake !

Get the char pup with everything: it's a Chicago style but slightly better! Their milkshakes , especially the oreo , are spectacular.

As great as their cheddar burgers (the best around IMHO), dogs and three letters fries are, their beefs are underrated. Nice change of pace if you eat here semi-regularly.

If you don't mind waiting in line to get your meal then this is the place or you. Nothing else like it around. Great big burgers . The Best Cheese Fries . Very Large portions

The fish sandwich is really yummy, better than the hotdogs ( which are also good)! Just remember, they only take cash!!
