A small cozy restaurant . The fried rice was oily and bland but the sushi is absolutely amazing. If you are craving sushi and you don't mind the steep prices, you must give this place a try.
The miso soup was so divine. Also as mains the crispy chicken and Nabeyaki Udon was so divine.
Fabulous sushi , but go there for the traditional Japanese dishes instead. Dobi mushi, Chawan mushi , Sukiyaki , Zaru Soba and Una Don to name a few.
miso chashu ramen with the home made gyoza (dumplings ) - a MUST !!
Try the pork belly with Japanese mustard . Awesomeness.
Sukiyaki and chawa mushi here is awesome! Something different from just your usual sushi at a Japanese restaurant .
Suki Yaki is awesome. Cooking with chop sticks. Is like spur with the hot plate. Authentic and yum.
The tempura pumpkin , avo California rolls - heaven!
Probably the best Japanese food in Jozitown. The miso soup is quite something.
Simple and traditional, loved it!
amazing food and service
Green tea ice-cream with sweet bean paste is the bomb!
Good food....peaceful place
Good food...
So disappointed! The waiters doesn't receive the tips... it goes to the manager ;( make sure u pay the waiter the tip in cash and in person.
Try the Tempura Maki . Mmm
WORST meal we had in S. Africa after traveling here for months. Hamachi fish was days old, colorless and tasted like rubber. Yamato prices are high but quality was low to poor! It's a rip-off!
Hands down the best sushi I have eaten to this day. I just keep coming back. Traditional and delish. - Angelika Campanella
Great Sushi, Great Prices, big portions, and always fresh. Never disappoints. - Brendon O'Neill
My favourite sushi bar-try salmon roses, cream cheese salmon california rolls and spicy tuna fashion sandwiches! - Nicolette Potts
